"RE: Survivor: I Quit" OK I admit I love reality shows, no matter how stupid (Pirates, ON the Lot, any one?)> most reality TV is really "Sadism TV". This is the one show that is so twisted, it's masochistic to watch. No talent or virtue wins a reward. My nerves are shot hoping the most odious player doesn't win. I'm a reality show addict, long time lurking on every message board, and actually posting on some. I'm quitting survivor, even though I was looking forward to some of the returnees. Only Ozzie deserves a win, and it won't happen. I can't take this show (or Big Brother) any more. I forget the names of the contestants but out of 16? seasons only 2 winners earned it. Super Tom, and the man (so sorry don't remember your name) who beat Ozzie. I'm about to have a nervous breakdown watching evil or lazy or stupid people hang on to the end. I've only made it through to one finale. Butnow my ulcer is going to bleed if I watch even one more early episode, and see the players long enough to care. I swore I was leaving when SuperTerry lost. Now the opening credits are too much, and I mean it. Goodbye. Enjoy the show everyone, and I'll see you on the boards for Idol, SYTYCD, The Race, and Project Runway.   Top

"RE: Survivor: Half-A.S.Sed Episode #2 East Coast Spoiler Thread" Over at the Fans camp, we have a very clear division in place: Kathleen, Chet, and Tracy are outside the main group. They're so outside that no one wants them in the (ruined) shelter, so they go and build their own -- which is better than anything the larger group did. This gets Tracy some respect, and the group follows her lead in putting another one together for the larger faction. She's still on the outside, mind you, but other than that, they're really thankful. Mary and Michael are having a flirtmance. This worries Joel a little, but he thinks getting rid of the outcasts is the higher priority. He should also be worrying about his having attended the Sundra School Of Fire-Making. (reportedly) Half the flint: gone in one day...   Top

This is for: Reward (fishing gear and a bamboo boat, what else?), Immunity, and the right to choose the losing tribe member heading to Exile Island (and the one from the winning tribe, too, but Jeff will tell them that afterwards.....) Run across the lily pads, then swim to a tower to smash a tile, the tile releases a key that must be retrieved from the lake bed. After all 5 keys are returned, a "key master" unlocks a treasure chest which has 5 locks and 3 puzzle piece bags. Then, three puzzle makers must form a puzzle map of Micronesia.   Top

Clue 2 then sends them across the bay again toward the coast. Clue 3 sends them across the bay again toward some rocks Clue 4 sends them across the bay toward it's actual hiding place somewhere above their heads in a rock area, but they didn't find it.....supposedly.   Top

The reward is fishing/swimming gear and the winner gets to send one of the Losers to Exile Island. Ozzy starts off for the Favs and Jason for the Fans. Ozzy gives them a huge lead ... eventually it's Chet's turn. He hammers the tile and loses the key. He cannot dive down deep to retrieve it and he comes back to the beach without the key. FAVS win the challenge. They pick Kathy to go to Exile Island. The twist is they have to pick one of their own tribe members to go to Exile. They pick Cirie. She and kathy will spend the night together on the Exile island.   Top
