I agree. Makes me sick to see her light up, especially when she's going to be going in for surgery in the future. Smoking before surgery is a no no. I think the smoking is her "crutch" since she has to give up her favorite foods. Feel sorry for her.

Yes, I agree she should give up smoking.
Another thing that has me concerned. Has she had any follow-up doctor's appointments? She explained why the weight gain that happened a couple of times, but could it actually be that the tumor may have grown?
It seems to me that the LCs are taking Jill's health issues very lightly. The tumor was causing anemia. Is the anemia under control? Is the tumor still on a body part that it was pressing on? I think these are questions that definitely should be looked into.

I thought that too! Esp since it's been like two visit in a row that she gained a good deal of weight. Wasn't 11 and then 7 pounds? I would be nervous. Unless you are having a baby and that would be normal between the last monthly visits to the doctors. Otherwise, it's scary. She knows she has this tumor. The bandage on her legs are probably for bad circulation. (my dad has the same ones for the same problem)
When she lights that ciggie, it's like lighting a freakin fuse! Why would you do that! Wasn't she only to smoke three or four a day? What happened to that?
