"How about some career counseling?"
Don't you think that for all of these ladies, some sort of career evaluation and job training should be started. I realize that they have other issues, but it seems like this should all be explored simultaneously. Going back to Season 1, they did that with most of the women (Andy, Lori, Nyanza, Hannah, Brenda, Karen, Rain, Amy, etc.) Josie was there for so long and right at the end, they decided to make her an animal trainer. Fun, but not totally practical. How can Jill, Lisa and Christina totally change their lives if they don't have a practical way of supporting themselves?

I fully agree with you re: career counseling and job training. Not only is it necessary (in these bad economic times), it will help psychologically and empower the housemates. My wish list for SO is to feature a housemate who is dealing with layoff/unemployment (and preferably someone who is 40+ like me).
You hit the nail on the head!

They do seem to be getting off to a slow start. Lisa, at the very least, should jump right in, since it's a foregone conclusion that she will need to support herself.
