“I Have the Advantage. . . for Once” Last week on Survivor . . . The Yulfadda, after consulting with his #1 Capo Becky, gave his approval for the hit of the “Cancerous Rat” and Jonathan was sent packing sans hat to join the rest of the losers er jurors.

Just a few preliminary matters to get out of the wayIn case you live under a rock & missed last week’s episode OR you are new to our community and haven’t experienced the wit, sarcasm & keen observations of our members OR you just can’t remember what happened yesterday, let alone last week, here are some valuable resources:

Here, Veruca, Michel, BrownRoach delve deep into the meaning of the editing, including interesting music analysis by KO and critter analysis by Emy. What does it all mean? If anything, you will probably find it in this thread and all are welcome to add their two cents.
Now, time to get down to business!Forehead brought over the title to us & started the speculation ”I have the advantage . . . for once.” In the beginning, it seemed this was thought to refer to something Jonathan would say . . . until Jonathan was taken out by the family. Then came the vidcaps brought over to us by our lovely FloPo, followed by the Web promo & the Sports PIP Promo. All can be found HERE. Previews only further “muddied” up speculation and theories are all over the map. Michel notes: “The whole plot could depend on the missing Survivor: Where is Sundra in all this?” Roark lays out his thoughts & states: “It's now all down to Ozzy. If he wins the next IC challenge, he knows he has the advantage.” Next, we have Chez’s Misdirection Thread for further discussion, although I think many have abandoned ep 13 for the finale spoilers that are already popping up. Two outsiders vow to fight to stay alive, knowing they will have to win challenges and manipulate players to stay in the game. Will they be successful in turning the tides? No brainer for anyone around here . . . 
The Reward Challenge forces Survivors to get dirty in exchange for a little pampering.
AND
Relaxing time at the Reward allows one Survivor to talk strategy with an enemy. Can this outsider plant a seed that could turn the game around? I think Emy wins the prize on this one. She first speculated the RC will be performed in PAIRS as follows: Ozzy/Parvati and Adumb/Becky and Yul/Sundra.  This seems to be the logical assumption for the RC, leading to a blowout win by Ozzy & Parvati, thereby leading to the later events. Let’s break it down: Parvati, harkening back to her days before the glamorous world of “model boxing” when she was on the local circuit “mud wrestling team” is the star of the challenge . . . while somewhere Nate’s head is exploding. *cue cheesy porn music*   Something tells me she has done this before. Of course, being paired with Dolphin Boy doesn’t hurt & Ozzy proves Darwin’s theory by showing Dolphin Boys can get around in the mud as well as the water.   With Parvati and Ozzy winning the RC as a “randomly chosen” pair, they are both sent to enjoy the reward. This then allows Parvati to “talk strategy with an enemy to plant a seed to turn the game around.” Ozzy looks nice and clean and refreshed here. Post spa?  Will Ozzy turn to the dark side???  
I don’t think so. (Note: Catty hasn't yet mastered the art of photo manipulation )
Meanwhile, back at camp . . .
Concerned about their ally’s strength, two tribemates talk about breaking up their alliance sooner than discussed. Again, doesn’t seem to be any misdirection here as we were shown Becky & Yul discussing Ozzy’s place in the Aitu4 . . . 
One Survivor is caught trying to manipulate a member of the opposing alliance before Tribal Council.
Could this be the end for the shrewd Survivor? Consensus is that Parvati is the manipulator. Shocking, isn’t it? No one could see that coming.  
 While it is split on whether the manipulatee is Sundra or Ozzy. Becky is suspected as the one who catches Parvati in the act.
Exilee??Will there be an exilee this week? If Ozzy & Parvati win reward as a pair, will a pair be banished? Maybe the last place pair is sent to exile, most likely Yul & Sundra if that is the case. However, if Parvati & Ozzy each had to pick one person from each of the losing teams, that could mean Adumb (picked by Ozzy) and Yul (picked by Parvati). Poor Yul might as well be sent there with a shoe. There are shots of Becky & Yul alone, so maybe THEY are sent to exile? Hmm.
Immunity Challenge??Seems there are 3 possible outcomes discussed: Yul, Ozzy or Adumb. OZZY - TDT states he is “told” Ozzy wins Immunity. But is it a reliable source? Here’s why I DON’T think the all powerful OZ wins this one:
YUL - Exhibit B & D could support the possibility of Yul pulling off a win; however, Exhibit C is very strong evidence against this.ADUMB - Exhibits A through D could point to an Adumb victory:
- Exs.A & B - - We know Adumb is a physical threat in challenges. Also, in a recent interview EPMB remarked about Adumb: "There's no question that we've focused on his alliance with Candice, but he's a very strong player. He might be cleverer than we think." Add to that the fact that jaws dropped across the world 2 weeks ago when Adumb shocked us with his ability to add and subtract numbers and actually remember things that had happened on Cook Islands other than the taste of Candice’s tonsils & the feel of Parvati’s bottom. A puzzle may not prove to be Kryptonite to Adumb afterall.
- Ex. C - - This is the strongest evidence for me. Parvati is giddy for a reason and my guess is that Adumb just won Immunity and she thinks she has the power to swing Ozzy and/or Sundra to vote against Yul or Becky.
- Ex. D - - This is also very compelling to me. I don’t believe we would be shown Yul & Becky discussing turning against Ozzy unless there was a possibility it could happen at this TC. So, Ozzy doesn’t win immunity & he is vulnerable for once and the misdirection is laid for us that Yul & Becky may take him out now.
Our Immunity Challenge winner?? Hmmmmm  
The Booty is . . . Er, excuse me, the BOOTEE is . . . 
It does seem that this week will be the week Parvati is sent to the jury. One week later than many of us originally thought. The reasons why are still yet to be confirmed:
- Is it because Adumb won immunity and the Aitu 4 stuck together? (Most likely)
- Is it because Parvati was caught in the act of manipulation and they decide she is a bigger threat than Adumb? (Quite possible)
- Is it because Adumb won immunity and Parvati DID swing Ozzy over to the dark side, thereby creating a tie of votes between Parvati & Becky, not knowing that Yul gave Becky the HII, Becky whips it out “in-yer-face” style to everyone and Parvati is sent to join her “hunka burning lust” Nate in the jury? (Far fetched, but would be great to see!)
Regardless of the reason, Web-wide consensus is that Aitu4 are the final 4 and Adam makes final 5 (per Prometheus). So that leaves our poor flirty, little Parvati out in the cold.

I hope you enjoyed my first attempt at a SOTS. A shout out to all the other SOTS writers for their inspiration, especially the other first-timers like me who took a shot at lessening Emydi’s load and entertaining us with their posts. I may never have to write another SOTS again! These first time SOTS are GREAT THIS SEASON!! Thanks for a great one Catty..I like your analysis of the Adum ICwin...you may have convinced me!! Thanks for the Sports PIP vidcap at the beg. of RC..that confirms it, it's pairs! Thanks for the shout out to vote Jonathan for the car...he really does deserve it!!! And Ozzy going to the dark side...where have I seen that before  Where is Miamicatt when you need her!

Thanks! I really had fun doing it. Now come post in the editing thread!! I'll be in there. Everyone's analyses in this thread amaze me. So much thought and detail, I LOVE it. Now that I am officially hooked on "Spoilers" I'll be in there to toss around some thoughts. I like your analysis of the Adum ICwin...you may have convinced me!! I'm probably wrong on this, but this scenario really made the most sense to me. Can't wait to see how the IC does pan out. Parvati's jubilation shots are the kicker. Right now I think they are after the IC, but if I'm wrong my prediction of an Adumb win is weakened greatly. The misdirection of a possible Ozzy boot still makes me think Ozzy must not win the all-important IC. He was complaining about only winning ICs and not RCs & you know the old saying: "Be careful what you wish for. . ." Thanks for the shout out to vote Jonathan for the car...he really does deserve it!!! I'm glad you posted this in one of the other threads, Em. I don't visit the CBS site as much this far into the season & wouldn't have known about the sweepstakes if you didn't point it out. Also, I agree that Jonathan deserves it. He played hard and "fair" and really took a lot of carp. Besides, his "narration" was great while it lasted and he saved the Aitu 4 from being Pagonged. Where is Miamicatt when you need her! I think she'd get a kick out of that. Don't think she watches Survivor though. Does she know what she's missing?

Great SOTS CattyChat! ROFLMAO! Bwawawa...seriously, really funny! Great info, you got it all covered!Love your "Bootie" pic!
Plus your arguement for an Adumb win at IC is swaying me as well. For me, the pic of Parvati all smiles is pretty telling. This pic of Yul and Becky means something else to me though. Sure they're talking about the nest boot. But I find it interesting that is the only "twosome" pic in the promos re: editing.
My personal thoughts are Yul will take Becky to the final 2 (if there is a final 2...3?) because he is a man of honor and he will honor his original alliance with Becky. I don't see him taking Ozzy or Sundra based on jury votes. He feels he will get enough votes to win with Becky, and he remains true to his alliance. IMHO. Enough blah, blah from me though. You first timers have talent!
I know some of you first timers have been lurking around here for years like me. But props to you for have the guts to do a SOTS!
