PLEASE NOTE: The Reality TV World Message Boards are filled with desperate
attention-seekers pretending to be one big happy PG/PG13-rated family. Don't
be fooled. Trying to get everyone to agree with you is like herding cats,
but intolerance for other viewpoints is NOT welcome and respect for other
posters IS required at all times. Jump in and play, and you'll soon find out
how easy it is to fit in, but save your drama for your mama. All members are
encouraged to read the
complete guidelines.
As entertainment critic Roger
Ebert once said, "If you disagree with something I write, tell me so, argue
with me, correct me--but don't tell me to shut up. That's not the American way."

Hi CSTL. Good to hear from you too.Yes, I'm on BB, but not posting much. Not much to say that hasn't already been said over there. Have to say that this show has been a lot of fun. Can't believe I'm just now discovering it. At least on this show, the judges offer up some points that the contestants can use. It's more than AI's Randy's typical, "just doesn't do it for me" or Simon's "song choice" comments. I like that Nigel is excited about how dance is being brought to the masses. Hopefully that enthusiasm by the general public will carry over to local dance performances as well as a surge in people signing up for classes. Everyone is entitled to my opinion.

Honestly, I think the biggest thing for her is her foot injury.

<thought this girl would acquire grace at some point in time. She may have learned a lot of moves but it is so plain to see that everything is a stretch for her, it showsHi miss ganda. Lack of grace. That's what I was trying to say. Surely she will be fourth. Can you imagine how her being in the finals has affected the better dancers eliminated before her? Ouch. Everyone is entitled to my opinion.

Amen, miss_ganda. I completely agree about Donyelle. I'm so shocked that she made it this far into the show...

<Donyelle is proof that you don't have to be gracefully elegant on the dance floor, just have a whole lotta family and relatives that have all the time to spend calling in.>Actually, I think the last part of your sentence could more easily be applied to Benji than Donyelle. Who do we see the most of in the audience? Benji's family. Who passes out Benji signs to any audience member who wants one? Benji's family. Who starts the Benji chants every time? ... well, I think you get my point. I don't hold it against Benji. In fact, he's one of my favorites. However, just as beauty is in the eye of the beholder, so is grace. For me, my eye has been drawn to Donyelle from the auditions forward. Perhaps it is because I'm not a dancer, that I can just sit back and enjoy the performance without worrying about the technicalities. All I can say is that I have rewatched every single Donyelle solo, and Benji/Donyelle performance over and over, and then over again. I love watching the two of them together, and I loved each of her solos. So for whatever reason, her dancing moves me, much more than any of the other top 20. I'm neither a friend nor family member to her, but she got my votes every time. And I have never voted in a reality show competition before. I do agree that her broken toe seems to have slowed her down, but I still enjoyed the Viennese Waltz she and Benji performed the other night and thought it was lovely. Sig pic by JSlice

So for whatever reason, her dancing moves me, much more than any of the other top 20. same here, i like the way she moves. she has some quality that just draws me in. i'm not sure what it is, but it seems like she dances with so much emotion and that makes it easier for me--an untrained viewer--to connect with her. i really loved Benjelle--i think they were both better when they danced together. I'm neither a friend nor family member to her, but she got my votes every time. And I have never voted in a reality show competition before. i voted for her too--she isn't going to win, but i really enjoy watching her. i'm not a friend or family member either, but she does look like she could be my sister. thank you arkiegrl
