Thoughts on last nights season premiere? LOVED IT! So glad it is back! Carrie: The coffee date? HILARIOUS!! Who hasn’t had a first date like that?? Oh, and Jack Berger? So cute! (and so Office Space – but that is why we love him, right?) Miranda: She just has the best lines! And I totally felt her pain when Steve said he was seeing someone. One question, was it just me, or did Brady look like he hadn’t aged much? I mean Aiden can have like a three or four month old, but Brady still looks that young? Did I miss something here? Charlotte: Okay, so am I the only one who finds her BF (totally blanked his name) attractive? Something about bald men. Anyway, I think it is going to be funny and interesting to see her “investigate” Judaism. Samantha: Same old, same old Sam. But I still LOVE HER! And, uh, yeah – that is all I have to say about that…..   Top

I wondered the same thing about Aiden's baby. I thought it had been like 1 year since Carrie and Aiden broke up. How is that enough time to meet someone, get married, and have a baby? Well actually, it is long enough, but the baby looks at least 4-6 months old already! I thought Brady shoudl at least be closer to one. I guess that is TV time right? Anyway, how bad would it suck to run into yoru ex-boyfirend and he is married with children? Even if you broke up with him.   Top

I am curious what you didn't like about it. I have never heard that from anyone (well other than my SO -- but he is such a guys guy, it didn't surprise me). It was soooo unrealistic! Don't worry, I feel the same way about shows like Friends. The situations, the fact that these people are friends...it's all just fake to me. 2. The lines sound so scripted. I felt like they had the scripts sitting in front of them the whole time. 3. What was this episode about? NOTHING seemed to happen. I'm sure people say that about Survivor though, and if you are an avid watcher of that, you generally think EVERY episode is exciting, so to each their own. -Just doesn't get it   Top

Can you believe I missed the first episode? I was in the middle of moving and my satellite wasn't hooked up. I'm trying to catch a repeat. I did see this week's ep though. I love Berger but don't feel he'll last much longer with Big returning. Carrie will probably screw up like she did with Aidan. Charlotte and Sam still crack me up. Miranda's obsession with the Tivo seemed a bit much to me, but if I had a Tivo I'd probably freak out if someone erased all my programs too. I think the first seasons were better, the story lines seemed more realistic, I could actually relate them to hanging out with my friends, but lately the plots have been a little overboard for me.
