You ever work from home and sort of forget what day of the week it is? That's me. Sorry about that. I even forget tonight was Queen night on AI, and that should have been the most fun butchery since "Delicatessen." The Rules 1. Please put the name of your choice for this week's bootees IN THE SUBJECT HEADING! This is really easy. Just erase the bit where it says "Re: SurvivorBlows Tribe, It's Time to Vote!" and replace with your vote, i.e., Aras. This makes it easier to tally votes quickly and accurately. Oh, and btw... nicknames are tougher to tally unless they're REALLY obvious without actually reading your vote. 2. Reply ONLY to this post! Curves on women are good. Curves on vote threads are bad. The first part bears repeating: I like curves on women (which would explain why I haven't seen any episodes this season). Y'know, I'm not sure if I've been clear enough about this. Curves on women are really great things. Y'know what else is good? A nice MLT. Mutton, lettuce, and tomato with just a little bit of mayonnaise. Mmmmm. EXCEPTION TO RULE 2! VOTE CHANGES! If it just so happens that you wanna change your vote for whatever reason, REPLY TO YOUR ORIGINAL POST! Your new post heading should read "VOTE CHANGE: Bruce (or Whoever)". That said, there is not an exception to the fact that curves on women are good. 3. THIS IS NOT A DISCUSSION THREAD! DO NOT TREAT IT AS SUCH! There are plenty of places on the Spoilers Forum to debate the merits of people's arguments. Let's keep it out of here, please. 4. No sig pics! It was suggested that because this can be such a long thread, sig pics make it really hard to load for folks with dial-up connections. So show some respect to your slower brethren (and sistren). And really, if I can refrain from flashing the greens at 100 posters, surely you can refrain just this once from extolling IceCat's animated glory, no? 5. Have fun. That's an order.   Top

With Terry probably winning the IN, the Casaya's will ASSume that Terry will give Sally the hidden II. If they don't target one of their own, then the LaMina's may get the chance to direct a boot, and King Aras will not let that happen. There is a reason we have been shown Courtney sleeping on the fringe every night...while she may not realize it, *giggle*, we certainly do! "Courtney" With a 6-2 majority, Casaya can dump their most disliked member without losing any voting strength. Complete pagongings are rare as eventually the majority has a big enough voting margin to vote off the most irritating alliance member without damaging their majority. "Courtney" LAST EDITED ON 04-12-06 AT 12:07 PM (EST) But I don't think Casaya is going to formulate a plan to split their vote in case Sally has the HII -- if so, I think we'd be getting a blurb about a "suspenseful tribal council" or somesuch. Aras saw enough at the last TC; he's not going to chance anything this time. If Courtney tries to argue for voting for Sally, Aras will turn the tables on her by creating a "new alliance" with the "remaining Casayas". ETA: And in view of the press release confirming that Aras is the only Casaya willing to participate in the IC, Aras should be sufficiently p.o.'ed by that turn of events to get rid of one his former tribemates.   Top

"Courtney" LAST EDITED ON 04-13-06 AT 07:01 PM (EST) She's nuts anyway -- leaf phobia -- and Aras has to assume that, if he gives Terry and Sally a chance to target someone, he'll be it. The fact that his alliance-mates are sitting out the IC won't make him feel any more kindly toward them, either -- and he can afford to lose one of them with a 6-2 edge going in. Edited to add: I think this may have been the case last week, too. I think Aras set it up to look like his group was going to target Sally, in the expectation that Terry would give the HII to her, and then had his group vote for Austin instead.   Top

"Courtney" Logically, the Casaya should split their votes to eliminate the threat of the hii, but with Terry continuing his immunity streak that isn't possible. Terry's efforts to create a misfit alliance having been fruitless, he may see the value in giving Sally the hii. Why they would target Courtney is uncertain, perhaps they see here as the real center of the Casaya alliance and hope eliminating her will break open shifting alliance possibilities. More likely, Aras and/or Shane see the value of eliminating a rival control freak in their own alliance.   Top
