I thought the grade for the whole house was unfair. I feel at least these ladies try, the first season of Starting Over women more than anyone deserved a C and to go on probation, and they acted uglier way beyond 2 weeks but Rhonda was so easy with them. The women in the house now are slow at reaching their goals but you can't expect all women to respond so swiftly as others, these women really have some deep issues. I think Rhonda and Rana let first season women just skate through their goals. I understand that some of these ladies are at a stand still like Allison, T.J. and Jill, these women are older and so set in their ways, it's going to take a while. Jessica's mother's death is something that she just can't take and the way it happen is hard to get over, I take it nothing bad ever happen to her before her mother's death, so of course it's even more devastating. I think she may need something more than Starting Over because the exercises Rhonda is giving just keeps her more in denial and upset. Christina can be changed, she has more of a chance than the rest. I still don't understand why Allison is still there, coming back to the house, in a way brought back her old behaviors again, all the work Iyanla did with more last year has grown down the drain. I think if their going to let women on the show, make sure their problems aren't too serious, so serious they can't help in 2 to 5 or 7 weeks. You can't break old habits in 2 weeks unless they do like Kim said, fake it till you make it (I'm surprised Iyanla never put her on the spot for that comment), I kind of hate when the life coaches get cold and kind of ugly acting at the Board of Reviews.   Top

Cyahd 78 desperate attention whore postings DAW Level: "Hollywood Squares Square" 10-24-05, 09:48 AM (EST) 1. "RE: All women can't be changed in 2 weeks!" I think the whole point of today is to make the women realize that part of the process in the SOH is supporting and loving one another, unconditionally. This is the only season in which every one of these women seems to be in for themselves.....not supporting one another as they should. That is extremely important in the SOH. JMO.   Top

I agree with you but this takes me back to season 1, the women seem to break into groups of 3 and still be against each other but never received the same treatment as the women now. Season 1 women tried to degrade, demean anyone who stepped in their path, these women get along but lack compassion though, their nice to each other's faces but as soon as one leaves the room, there goes the knife in the back.   Top

Maybe the LC's are doing in life as we should. Review what went wrong and do our best to change it next time around. Without trying to get too cliche.......learn from our previous mistakes. If that is one lesson that can come across to all of us viewers during the various seasons then woooohoooooo.......we have all benefited from these wonderful women being willing to share themselves publicly for our (the viewers) vouyerism.   Top

I agree that 2 wks is too soon to be changed especially since it took the whole 1st wk and part of the 2nd to hear the ladies tell their stories. As for the LCs- hind sight is indeed 20/20! That's why THEY keep having those AH-HA moments.   Top
