Asks them what their needs are. Decides to filter water through tee-shirts so that it's drinkable without boiling. There are doubters. Bruce c-ts that the tribe thought he was a gift from heaven, he was the last one picked an d is now top ob the tribe. La Mina is worked on a 'stew' of snails and looks like clams. Nick c-ts that if they could catch a few fish a day it would be a whole other ball game. Nick and Austin try their hand at fishing but lose a fish. They catch a puffer fish. Ruh-ro. At least Nick realizes they probably shouldn't eat the puffers. Terry catches a non-puffer fish and the tribe is so excited!   Top

I don't know how puffer fish work for their poison -- are there sacs and organs you have to avoid, like with stonefish liver, or is the entire fish off-limits? Someone who really read the briefing book and had decent cooking skills might be able to make them safe for consumption -- but it's a rare day when a contestant even glances at the briefing book. How bad is the poison? Fatal, sickening, you get to go back home without ever leaving the beach?   Top

Each launcher will get 2 shots per round. The other 4 tribe members will stand on a balance beam over the water. On Jiffy's go, one tribe member will launch a ball and the other 4 will try to catch the ball. They are allowed to jump off the balance beam to catch the ball, but if they go in the water they must come up with the ball. First team to 5 wins reward. They are playing for tarps, blankets, lanterns, fuel, rope, etc. The losing team must send a member to Exile Island. For La Mina, Misty, Dan and Ruth Marie will lauch. For Casaya -- Bob, Bruce and Cirie will launch. Bobby and Misty first. Terry connects for La Mina. Aras misses. La Mina 1-0. Aras catches for Casaya, Nick catches Terry's bank shot. La Mina 2-1. Dan and Bruce up to shoot;. Danielle catches for Casaya, Terry for La Mina. La Mina 3-2. Shane catches for Casaya, tied 3-3. Ruth Marie and Cirie shoot. Terry misses, Shane catches. Casaya 4-3. "Post -RC, The Morning After" Terry tells us the wonderful things they will do with the items they received at the reward challenge. They make easy work of the tarp over the top of the shelter they previously built. You can see them inside the shelter using their feet to prop up the tarp to deflect the rain off the sides. Terry feels bad for Bruce being on EI. Bruce c-t's that he's been on EI longer then with his tribe, it is a miserable night. Morning at Casaya, They are all bummed out that Bruce was sent to EI, trying to boil water. Shane is on his 'time out' seat. Shane is yelling and a little out of control. Courtney asking Shane's advice of getting the kettle off the flame, he's giving her a lot of attitude and stalks off to the shelter. These two are really butting heads for no apparent reason.   Top

I was kind of wondering why they didn't just put their strongest male on lookout for the three person, and when the person got the back, that person would simply level the one with the bag. None of them considered catching a few to eat? Misty, Sally, Nick and Austin are talking alliance on the beach. Misty decides to give Austin a neck rub to flirt with him and get ahead. Decides to use her flirting skills to their advantage. Nick asks if she is taught or if it's a natural ability. Sally ct's she and Misty work well together to manipulate the guys. Austin ct's how everyone is coming to him for alliances, may be dangerous to align himself with the strong guys, especially with the girls coming to him. Sally plans to work on Austin, admits Terry a power player, the guys would be smarter to align with her and Misty. Immunity Challenge. Bruce returns from EI. Five circles in sand, buried in each circle is a bag. Race to circle and unearth bag and return to mat. Tribes will battle for same bags, to score must have at least one hand on bag while any part of body touches finish mat. First team with 3 wins immunity. First, Cirie and Danielle taking on Sally and Misty. Gotta love cat fights. Danielle and Misty fighting while Cirie and Sally dig. Cirie and Sally now have bag. Misty fighting with Cirie. Danielle has bag, Cirie takes it, reaches to touch the mat. Casaya scores first point and we have a blur - Austin? Next, Nick & Terry versus Bruce & Bobby. Bruce tries to tackle and fails, Terry first. Bruce has Nick in a wrestling hold. Terry and Bobby in a hold. Nick has bag and races to mat. Tied 1-1. Next, Shane, Courtney & Aras versus Austin, Ruth Marie and Dan. Courtney digging while Shane and Dan wrestle. Aras has bag but Austin tackles him. Now Shane has bag. Cirie finds bag, Nick pulling up bag, Courtney has bag but Nick holding on. Nick tries to steal. Courtney takes out Aras. All 6 are tied up together. Aras has the bag and running for the mat. Casaya scores, tied 2-2. Final round. Bobby & Danielle versus Ruth Marie and Terry. Danielle and Ruth marie tied up. Terry tries to break it up, Bobby pulling out bag, Terry trying to steal. Terry has bag and runs, Bobby tackles, Ruth Marie takes bag and Bobby tries to catch her, pulls her to his mat and touches his mat for the score. Casaya wins immunity. La Mina will go to Tribal Council.   Top

I just couldn't believe a tribe that would send Bruce back for more exile would send one of the men home, unless he completely blew it somewhere along the line. Especially where we have an outcast (Ruth Marie), a spear dropper (Sally), and a flirtatious first Exilee who "found it, maybe" (Misty). It made more sense to test to see if Misty had it, if she did Ruth Marie is toast, if not, Misty's toast.   Top

Terry wanted to bring their tribe intact to the merge.Dan, Terry and Austin discuss Ruth Marie as bootee that makes most sense. Austin proposes Misty based on the day's challenge. Terry ct's that he agrees Misty is tonight's bootee. Misty and Sally talk with Nick and discuss Ruth Marie. Sally ct's that Ruth Marie is weak and has been struggling for a couple of days. Austin and Nick talk how Nick is between a rock and a hard place -- they cannot decide which dyad to align with for tonight's vote. (OK, that's not the language Austin actually used, I shortened it up for him.) Tribal Council -- questions to Terry and Dan from Jiffy about hardships in camp. Sally surprised she would care for these people as much as she does. Austin talking about fishing, Jiffy asks about spear, Austin diplomatically states they haven't had much luck with the spear. Jiffy asks Misty whether there is pressure on women to live up to physical fitness as men. She also believes everyone is competing for the tribe at this time. Terry tells Jeff they all know there has been talk going on and everyone realizes someone must go home tonight. Nick is basing his vote tonight more on group than individual. Jiffy adds that if Misty (the only person on the tribe to be on EI) has the II, she may reveal after the votes if she has the most votes. Misty votes first, for Ruth Marie. Dan votes second, not shown. Austin votes, not shown. Terry votes for Misty. R-M votes, not shown. Nick votes, not shown. Sorry, lost where in the line-up Sally voted. First vote - RM. Misty. RM (2-1). Misty (tied). Misty (3-2). Vote for Misty, voted out. She admits she did not find Immunity Idol and her torch is snuffed.   Top

Congrats to the ones who had the right vote. The editing cut out any scenes relating to the title of the episode and we never saw Clue #3. Weird! Kathliam great play by play as usual! I don't get where Misty's challenge performance cost her. She had 3 out of 3 throws caught and she tackled Aras in one leg. She did get slammed by Cirie but can't fault her for that. Since he was first to mention Misty, Austin will be one to watch!   Top
