""True Life on MTV" Not Charming, but very Interesting!" |
I have previously posted on the reality shows offered on MTV, and how charming "Made" is, and how pathetic, boring, and crappy Real World and Road Rules are, but I have a new one to comment on...."True Life". This series focuses on a variety of topics in one hour blocks, and it airs on varying dates and times. I saw one a year or so ago on plastic surgery, which they have repeated from time to time, which was fascinating, and then just this weekend a show on people obsessed with their dogs....unbelievable! The one hour show focused on three different people completely obsessed with their dogs, and each of their dogs was worse than the previous one. A twenty three year old guy has a bulldog that he thinks is more important than his girlfriend. When they go in the car the dog sits in the front seat, and his girlfriend in the back. He french kisses the dog....disgusting, and he trusts his damn dog more than people, and is quite obviously in need of professional help. Another focus is on a twenty year old New York City model with a pink dyed minature poodle that she spends $500.00 per month on. This nut job passes up auditions because no dogs are allowed, and carries on over this little rat like dog as if it were her kid....again very interesting to watch. As always, tape these shows to avoid the interminable and obnoxious commercials, but "Made" and "True Life" are in my opinion, well worth a look see.
