It’s time for our weekly powwow to discuss and figure out this week’s episode – it’s been a tough year for spoiling, which is a refreshing change from the boot lists handed to us in pretty much every season since ChillOne in the Amazon. Let’s see if we can nail this week’s bootee! First things first… let’s welcome some newcomers to our site that have been popping up here and there in the last couple of weeks. Please take a moment to read the Spoiler Board Guidelines as there has been a few locked threads already. Read, Read some more, Think it over, and then if you have an idea that is not covered in any of the other threads – Post away! On to the spoiling… Post-mortem of last week’s episode: Did you miss last week’s episode? Read about it in Coconut’s snarky Episode 3 Summary! You can also get a “live” summary of the episode with comments made during the airing of last week’s episode in the East Coast Spoiler Thread. Thanks to davwav02 for setting it up in IceCat’s absence due to a cable outage. Brownroach brings us the Survivor Insider for episode 3. There’s always useful information in there that isn’t shown on TV, for example, we’re being shown here on the Insider that Danni is real sharp and picks up on a lot of little things, such as quickly answering a question meant for Bobby Jon about some food eaten in Palau. Has MB really been bamboozling us? Flowerpower seems to feel that is the case so far with surprise boots in Episodes 2 and 3. What do you think? Spoiling this Episode udg brings us the episode title, ”To Betray or Not To Betray?” There’s some good discussion on possible alliances in the game in this thread. What would a SOTS be without a vidcap thread? Got to have em! You can find vidcaps here, courtesy of volsfan. It appears we’ve got a switch coming up and plenty of discussion here on who’s going to end up on which tribe. In a thread that should be called “SeeBS Misdirection” to avoid confusion, tbraff brings us the CBS website teaser to talk about what the unexpected twist would be. FlowerPower has started up a Episode 4 Bootie Discussion thread to try and pull together ideas on who’s going to get the boot. An excellent idea for a thread considering how much we’ve had the wool pulled over our eyes with the previous two boots. The EyeMail is in that thread as well. Ongoing and Future Spoiling This is where on-going threads are placed as often they’ll refer to future happenings that may or may not come into play in this week’s episode. There’s no better place to start than to get a refresher on VerucaSalt’s always useful The Players, The Game, The Editing; Survivor Guatemala. Georgianna’s Signs of Survival is usually quite interesting to see how the stars are aligned for the Survivors and gives us an insight on what make some of these people tick. OFG has made a reappearance with her thoughts in this thread as well. Tina said during S3 that one of the keys to figuring out alliances is to look at who’s sitting with whom. forehead has an on-going thread to break down who’s sitting next to whom at each TC. There’s some speculation by ivoryElephant that seeing Lydia with a bloated stomach might be indicative of going far because of eating after being starved for so long. Was Blake poisoned? Or is he just lazy? Will this have any impact on his status in the game this episode? DerangedButSane speculates here. Brownroach has been busy… he brings us Morgan’s Survivor Live Transcript and Rose’s Questions to Morgan. There’s some potentially revealing information on who’s Morgan been hanging out with or who’s in the main alliance at Yaxha, plus her take on some of the contestants still in the game. She might also have revealed that Stephenie did really well in this game. BR also speculates that Brian = villain = not an early boot? Is he being edited as the show’s villain? You tell us. Let’s take a quick look ahead to the Episode 5 title, ”Crocs, Cowboys and City Slickers.” Sometimes you can figure out who’s safe for this episode if we can see who the title references. The Boot So what do you think? Tell us in SherpaDave’s vote thread. Is it Gary? Blake? Our perpetual favourite, Amy? Or a surprise boot once again? Keep in mind that on several boot sheets out there, Brianna was listed as “safe” for last episode. Gary’s getting a lot of discussion because of the “To Betray or Not To Betray” title, and Blake is still feeling the effects of the ?poison? and irking his tribemates by resting around the camp. Amy’s got the bum ankle, will that be a factor contributing to her booting? I dunno, but I’m foreseeing a minor drop in a certain NFL player’s trading card value very soon – like this week or next week… The SOTS is provided by Survivorblows as a service to our readers.
