3. "Blake" |
I thought from the editting last week that Blake was going to be around quite a while as a character for us too root for. This eyemail strengthens my thought on that. When you hit "rock bottom" the only way to go is up. I think Blake is being given an underdog edit and his story is about beating the odds to counter all the Osten type quitters the show has had to deal with. Even with him being down and out in Ep. 1, he was edited to be likeable. The male who will end up paying for this is most likely Brandon who I believe will be the first male casualty on that tribe. We've already seen him in frustration with the other guys all puking. Margaret and Cindy are shown helping the sick ones who are bonding, while Brandon is shown complaining about them. Not a good sign.

Just had to chime in that I like your thoughts, Cowboy! But I did hear Jiffy say on Regis and Kelly Live that he thought some of the survivors never truely recuperated from their first hike....that gives me some pause. But like you, I got a very bad vibe regarding Brandon and Judd after the first ep, the two sickest guys probably carried more than their fair share of the load and were affected the most as they had the most lean muscle mass. With all of those big strong bucks over there that tribe could really rock, I just don't see those two thinking of a strong team/tribe to get to the merge with the numbers.....I don't like either one!
