I kept getting distracted by the sock puppet close-ups. I kept expected lambchop to show up any minute. Did they choose dark socks to help Jill relate and emote? And the little fuzz ball mustache on the Daddy sock was too much. Wacko!!!! At the end of "the show" I noticed that Jill can some sort of break through. I have no idea what it was. I'm glad she's a happy sock.

Roflmao!!! It was sock afro hair! I can believe they put so much effort into making the socks African-American instead of just giving Jill a real puppet--assuming the puppets were at all a good idea. I also hated the tiny stage that were probably made of cereal boxes. Poor Jill, her assignments are so insulting and low-budget! Is the bag carrying assignment secret exercise for her weight loss? Sommer got to go to a real gym with a real human trainer...where's Jill's workout?

I think this was the stupidest assignment ever! It was so babyish. Why didn't IV have Jill do what Jennifer B. in season 2 did when she did that role playing with her and had Josie, Sinea, and Towanda help her with. I think something like that would have helped alot more. I thought the puppet show was just bizarre!

I just can't believe that they flew Jill from Florida to California to play with some dirty laundry and some old bags. WHERE IS THE BUDGET PEOPLE??? This is the third season, they can't get a Black puppet? I love Jill. I think she's going to make it no matter what silliness they send her way.

amen! i was so thrown off by that exercise! i kept expecting jill to just laugh her head off.
i'm sorry but if i were given that assignment i'd be on the floor rolling.
who plays with a PUPPET in a little PUPPET HOUSE to get to the core of an emotional issue?

What I didn't get is how did IV know Jill had daddy issues in the first place? They went into the room and Jill said she had been thinking about why she felt the way she did and realized it was because of her dad and BLAMO!! IV had puppets of Jill and her dad already made?!? I don't get it. They must have writers or rehearse this stuff.
