But, talk about a bunch of catty girls -- I swear, not one girl on there doesn't have something absolutely terrible to say about the others. Didn't their mothers tell them "if you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all"? MEOW! The best part is when Tyra teaches them her "tricks" -- for example, the "dead eye" v. the "FIERCE eye." I admit, I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed, but she looked the same to me with both "eyes." Janice Dickinson is one of the judges and she is hilariously cruel -- she even made one girl cry last night -- the Tyra look alike one. And those girls deserve it. This show is ridiculous and I'm rooting for the atheist. I can only imagine how she felt in the prayer circle led by the "plus size" model Robin. I'm surprised Elyse stayed last night after her tirade in the confessional that included throwing around the "c" word about some of the girls. "RE: America's Next Top Model" I finally got to watch the show last night for two hours WOOHOO! I was LMAO the whole time. I started laughing when the guy starts to show the girls how to walk on the catwalk. I'm thinking why is a guy showing girls how to walk. Whatever. Then, he takes off his pants and puts on high heels and struts his stuff. BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! Tyra is hilarious. Seeing the Zoolander movies makes this show all the more funnier. Last night she's giving hints to the girls for their photo shoot for Stuff Mag. She tells them they can change their looks by raising one eyebrow then the other eyebrow LOL! Oh yeah Tyra, big diff! I really don't like Ebony. Too confrontational. Love it how she says she's a make-up artist and can't even to her own make-up. There was some really nasty language coming from one of the girls in her confessional (can't remember which girl). Nasty Nasty! Meeeeoooooooowwwwwwww! I love this show! The narrator says that if she doesn't show up for the elimination moment she is automatically eliminated. She shows up, looking dreadful, and Nicole is booted--the pitiful homesick waif who can't go five minutes without calling her controlling manipulative boyfriend. As for being a Christian, I can't judge whether she is or not, only God can do that. Elyse, who is too skinny but by far the most photogenic. Yes, BY FAR, survived her brush with elimination. Next to go--Shannon or Kesse; both fine, but not THAT fine. Adrianne is the hottest, but her speech issue will eventually do her in. The show really focuses on Robin (whose personality makes me sick. I just hate her sooo much, but she seems to have eaten nothing since the show began and really looks much, much better) and Elyse (snotty, condescending, but top quality and says things viewers are probably thinking). I think it will be Robin vs. Elyse in the finals. Robin's "plus-size" is a huge advantage because I'm sure all the real plus-size viewers are rooting for her, and she provides good TV.   Top

What they really meant was, "Elyse, because otherwise she's gonna win this thing". I think Robin is amazingly photogenic, but I don't understand how a 27yo can be in a modelling competition... Am I (and Janice) the only one who thinks this is over the hill in modelling terms???? I don't mind keeping her around to infuriate me with the m'aams and prayer circles, but really. While I'm on a roll, if plus size models are so necessary in the modelling world, why doesn't Tyra should put on 40lb in support???   Top

Nor do I think that Cindy, Linda, Tyra, etc are "young" -- but they started out young. Modelling is a business ... that's my point. They take 'em young, chew 'em up and spit them out. The smart (top) ones survive and have long careers if they diversify. But they all start young. The philosophy is that if you take someone new on and invest in them, then it's a long-term investment. Believe me -- I take lots of risks in my life. I have lived all over the world, and travelled most of the rest of it. The next phase of my life is about to begin. But there are some professions that are age-driven. IMHO.....   Top

"RE: America's Next Top Model" While alot of models do start young, Robin is pretty, and in this show it has already been said that she would be a great spokes person, talk show host, that kind of thing, so don't think of her as print, think of her in TV. No she will not win, but I think she has already won and will probably end up on a religious channel. As for plus size, geez, my one of my daughters is 5'8 size 10 and she is nothing. Skin over bones. In fact at 130 lbs her doctor keeps fussing at her to gain a few pounds. So I hate when these shows use 8 and 10 and call them plus sizes. Okay, off my rant now. Oh and I have been all over the world too. Well, except for Japan, Korea, Iran, have not been there, Been to Turkey, Spain, All the European Countries, etc..... So do not think that really means anything other then maybe we are both well traveled. I have even lived in a few of these countries, and other then an appreciation for the good ole USA, not much there. Although I loved that the dry cleaning man and the fresh veggie man came directly to the comparto vs me going to them. I do know this is a young thing, but Robin is beautiful and do not think she is that over the hill to do what had been talked about on her, especially hate that the old "witch" is the one bad mouthing her the most. And again, there is absolutely nothing wrong with Yes and No ma'am's , My mother taught them to me, I still say them, I taught them to my children, and alot of people in Texas still use those phrases. I have seen many nude photos of top models. They aren't the nude shots that show full frontal, of course, but Cindy Crawford, etc, etc, have shown nipple, and almost every model does the kind of nude shot they showed a quick shot of Adrianne doing, nude without showing anything. I have no problem with nude art pictures so that last sentence was alittle off. I mean in the art of selling something, advertising, is wrong. I truely can not see them making them go nude. I knew she would from the ads projecting her as the favorite. Then she chattered about genetics in modeling and how she auditioned "on a whim." Almost like she wanted them to get rid of her. Also, she was the only contestant who wasn't at all upset after being eliminated. She'll still be successful if she wants. Adrianne was my favorite from the get-go, but I never expected her to win. She was the "Butterfly," and her transformation wowed the judges. Good for her! She has a little something, a spark beyond just good looks. Shannon has great looks, but she sure is toothy! She's great but wasn't really special, IMO. When Adrianne won and thanked Janice, did I hear Janice say "I didn't vote for you"?   Top
