They'll (the actors and producers) will do their best to cushion the blow.Matt's going to be REALLY shocked, no doubt about it. He'll just stand there, shaking his head, his bugging eyes filling up with tears as they explain it to him.
Each actor will introduce their REAL selves.
They'll each say what a wonderful guy Matt is, how difficult it was for them to do what they had to do, and how that the last thing they wanted to do was hurt him.
They'll sit Matt down, and show him some video tape of the process. Behind the scenes stuff, the actors rehearsals, close-calls, and when planned "scenes" went a way they hadn't expected.
Finally, they'll ask Matt if he wants to ask them anything. The first thing he'll ask is "IS THE HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLARS REAL!?" it is of course, and they give it to him. Along with the trip he gave to Dr. Pat, and his large screen TV
He's not really hurt by the whole experience, but is sad that some of the friends he made are really pretend friends. He says he looks forward to meeting the REAL people behind the characters and getting to know them now.
He's told that he WILL get that chance, because the actors will spend the next few days with Matt in his new home.
It is at this point that Matt is told that the lap of luxury house is now, HIS HOUSE.
Hard to get mad given that outcome.
Matt does a solo interview to wrap up the series giving his final thoughts about his experience, having been duped, and given the title of "Joe Schmo"
Smiling all the way to the bank
Of course, this is just my guess.
