I would suggest Jeff as our #1 boot candidate.1. He had no confessionals in Ep. 1 and so was 'hidden'. 2. He is highlighted in the vidcaps/previews but not in a negative way. OFG? 3. He was already confused with Jonathan as being amongst the first two eliminated along with Wanda. I think the reason for this is that they are similar in terms of being young studs and, thereby, interchangeable in people's minds when trying to remember "was so-and-so eliminated in Ep. 1 or Ep. 2? Oh well, doesn't matter. They both went very early".

These are caps from what I think is the reward challenge Gauntlet Dash, the winners will receive fishing gear, mask, snorkles, fins, and Haiwaiin Sling:
Note, I think that they all are started on the beach and dash into the water to markers, on Jiffy's go...
Looks as though the tribes have to swim out to markers, that seem to be marked either by weight, or perhaps depth. I am thinking that there are things to haul up that are equal perhaps to the weight shown on the marker. You can see Willard, Tom, and I think Janu struggling with something. Then you can see Tom and Coby wading and struggling with something. Here's a vidcap that I think also belongs with the RC, Gauntlet Dash, and it's of Greg pulling a rope tied to a weighted object. Note all of the waders above him. (I thought this could be a cap of them trying to retrieve the flint box, but due to the number of waders above him I think it's from the RC.)
ETA: I think this is Angie at the RC as well, note the red bra...

To me they need a head's up to avoid the swinging obstacles...What do you think? I think the Gauntlet Dash indeed has them "dashing" from the shore out to the floating markers, on Jiffy's go is the RC...??? PS. Does Angie look NAKED to anyone else in that pic???? ETA: Corvis: I think that you may be right....the Gaunlet Dash is referring to them running across those boards then onto the barrel roll before someone from the other tribe clocks them off perhaps. This would be the RC then, while the Heads Up is the IC where they run into the ocean and have to lug the weight objects back....

Sorry Flower but I disagree. I think that 7,8,9, and 10 are caps from the first show. Look at the first few caps of the boat, the entire team is aboard.

FPI have rewatched the episode from Thursday and caps 7,8,9 and 10 are from the first episode. It is the exact footage. So, I don't think they flip again. Also, if the RC is for flippers and fishing gear then this happens befor the RC or Koror doesn't win. I think Ian would be wearing the flippers if they had them. 
Is the flint box in the background here?

Then in cap 17 we see that it looks like 2 guys getting ready to flip in the boat here...and to me it looks as though Tom is in the back and Gregg is in front of him....when the boat capsized with all of the tribe on board, Ian was in the very back and had no reason to jump ship prior to the capsize...
The sky also looks a bit more ominous than it was the day the entire tribe capsized... ETA: Yes Vols, you are correct....they must go back to retrieve the flint prior to the RC as there are no flippers or masks seen OR it is post RC and therefore we can deduce that Koror did not win as they are here with no mask/flippers...so, can't really tell if it is pre or post RC challenge...

But, I can not conclusively tell if that's a big air bubble or the frame of the mask??? I also could not make out a strap around the back of his head, could it be so covered by his hair, I don't tend to think so, but maybe. I noted that in the pics where I questioned whether it was a mask or not, that he did not have on flippers.....seems to me if he would wear the mask, he'd don the flippers as well? Inconclusive, but definately worth speculating over! ETA: I don't know Munson, does this look more like a mask and strap to you???...IT SURE DOES TO ME, I think I can see the front glass part of the mask as well as a thick strap around the back of his head....I'd say, KOROR WINS RC! Can you zoom in on his head here....please?

The important thing to note that it is INDEED a strap, and it does look to be thicker than the usual black strapped masks that we are accustomed to here in the states, but who knows what the typical Palaun mask is like. In addition to the strap you can clearly see the metal part that circumferentially goes around the glass part of the mask. Clearly, to me, this is some sort of diving mask/scuba mask....I'll go do some google research on scuba masks to see if I can find one like this, meanwhile could you post one of your enlargements?I firmly think that Koror will win this at the RC.....what do you think?

FP, your cap is MUCH clearer and that definitely looks like a mask.About those troublesome flippers...Ian's got some big 'ol feet! Maybe the flippers don't fit him? Maybe he's more comfortable diving without them? Dolphin trainers don't usually wear flippers when in the water with dolphins (based solely on my many trip to Discovery Cove, not advanced knowledge of dolphin trainer uniform customs). I'm leaning toward a Koror IC victory after which they use the mask to assist in recovering the chest containing the flint. The Hawaiian sling is also used to provide the "feast" mentioned in the CBS website misdirection. If that's the way it plays out, does Koror continue it's Challenge domination through the next IC? Will wisdom and solidarity trump youth and muscle?

I used FP's clearer cap to enlarge Ian's head and it appears that he has something around the back of his neck. It doesn't really look like a strap, tho, and it's nowhere near his ears, where you'd expect the strap to be. Just seems too low. Looks more like he's wearing his buff around his neck and it kinda floated up?But, there does appear to be something in front of his eyes.
TDT, no doubt Koror heads back out to retrieve the box at the first available moment. Doesn't mean they succeed. Ian stated that he thought he could see something on the ocean floor but wasn't sure. Perhaps after failing on this second attempt, they return a third time with goggles in hand, or on head, and pluck their treasure from the unforgiving deeps? And if the sling wasn't motivation enough, imagine how much Koror wants this reward challenge when they realize that it could mean fire as well!

Bianca,I have seen you refer to this twice now and just wanted to reply. I have now watched the first episode 3 times. The only time CBS displays the day that they are showing is on day 1. We are only shown one sunset and the next morning with peeps getting up. That is when Jiffy shows up on the beach for the pick 'em. During this episode day 2 isn't shown on the screen. So, from my point of view the first TC was on the night of day 2. However, on CBS' website in the summary this is what it says: After their first full night in Palau, the twenty tribeless castaways awoke to Jeff Probst, who explained that Jolanda and Ian would hold their Immunity for only ten more minutes. He then instructed the crew to line up in order to be divided into tribes. Ian would choose a woman while Jolanda would choose a man, then the ones chosen would, in turn, chose a member of the opposite sex. This would continue until there was one woman and one man left, who would then immediately be eliminated from the game. I don't know why they (CBS) would want to edit out one complete day. Is it possible that your source is wrong?

Cap # 24 is a pic of the flint box notice beside and below the lower right corner of the box. Is this a strap attached to the box? Is this what Ian has in his hands? That was my reaction when I saw that vidcap and the rumor about someone getting hurt and quitting. They look too upset and shocked to just be told that they are going to tribal council that night.
