And the rules are a teensy bit different for the finale. Most of us have been through this drill before, but if you're like me, your short-term memory is really, really... what was I talking about? Oh, right. Rules. Here's the way to post your votes this time: Subject line should list the contestants in the order that they will be booted. For example, if you believe that the contestants will finish out the game alphabetically... ie: Chris will finish in fourth place overall, Eliza will finish in third, and that the jury will choose Twila as the Sole Survivor over Scout in the final jury selection, your subject line would read: "Chris/Eliza/Scout/Twila." (Thankfully, it seems highly unlikely that this is the way it will go.) Got it? Good. Have fun. And thanks for another season of spoiling. Merry Festivus.   Top

The winner is a surprise, because a man beats all the odds and wins even with a majority female jury. Chris wins 6-1, the only vote Twila receives is from Scout. Oh heck, I have no clue.   Top

Chris knows he has to break up Twila and Scout and he goes after Twila whom he considers to be a bigger threat. Next Scout finally finds a way to win a challange. I know most find this impossible but she does somehow and gets to fullfill her wish of burning Eliza by picking Chris to go to the final 2 with her. Making the final 2, Chris and Scout, the two least likely to win challanges involving balance and the two most likely to be voted off by their pathetic performances in physicial challanges, the only two to balance their way to the end.   Top

This fulfills her quote in the last episode. 2. In the Final Four, Twila and Scout target Chris, because Eliza has immunity. Because Chris voted off Julie last night, she goes along with the idea, knowing she can beat Scout and Twila more easily in the F3. 3. Eliza wins the Final 3 IC; takes Twila. This fulfills Twila's "Neleh" edit of late. Also, Eliza realizes she has a better chance of beating Twila than Scout. 4. I think it would truly be awesome to see the two rivals go head-to-head in the F2. I think Eliza would grudgingly take Twila to the finals. Twila would be extremely easy to beat.   Top

That said... I don't think anyone wants purple rock at the Final Four. And the Eliza/Chris alliance is not nearly as strong as the Twila/Scout alliance, alas. So... Eliza wins immunity, Chris gets voted out. Eliza crushes Scout and Twila in an endurance challenge. Takes Twila with her as the easiest person to beat. Big win in vote for Eliza, with only Scout casting a vote for Twila.   Top

Chris wins with the votes of Chad, Sarge, Scout, and Twila. He wins the latter two because, in my scenario above, he is not personally responsible for their respective demises. Yay Chris!   Top

Eliza wins F4 immunity, and Chris and Eliza choose to keep Scout as their "competition." I think Eliza will realize, however, that she cannot win against Chris (she's a smart little one, like Scout points out), and Eliza will win F3 challenge and take Scout to the end. Finally, the person who does the choosing at this stage of the game does the winning.   Top

Here's how I think it all wraps up: Eliza's statements about winning the remaining immunities holds true. This also goes along with Jiffy's statement awhile ago about that winning multiple immunities in a row could change things. With Eliza immune, The Chris/Scout/Twila alliance must break up. Eliza has reasons to vote out each one, so she'll let them fight it out and vote accordingly. Since Chris knows that Scout is zero immunity threat, and that Scout and Eliza haven't been able to stand each other from day 1, he convinces Scout that they need to vote out Twila and avoid the tiebreaker. This puts him in the best position to get into the F2 - Scout will still feel loyal to Chris should she miraculously win final immunity, Eliza would never keep the hated Scout should she win, and if Chris wins, well, he's got a good F2 opponent either way. Eliza gets her wish to vote out Twila...one TC later than originally planned. Chris is able to get back in her good graces by pointing out to her that they were now in a position of power, just like he promised her could happen before Julie's ouster. Eliza wins final IC, and her hatred of Scout and Twila culminates in her getting rid of both of them. It's sweet revenge for the little one who just told us how she can't stand to spend one more day with the two of them. Unfortunately for Eliza, this decision puts her in the large club of final IC winners who hand someone the million dollar check by inviting them to the finals. Chris wins the vote, and the spirits of the island see one of the men who won the stone also win the million. This fufills many of the prophetic lines uttered throughout the season, such as... - Chris's comment that he doesn't need to outbalance to win. He couldn't handle the balance beam in the first challenge, and he loses the final endurance challenge, yet still ends up on top. Nice bit of irony that he claimed he could manipulate men better than women, but his manipulation of the women leads to his victory. - Ami's comment that she's not used to finishing second to a man. She doesn't finish second to a man, but another member of her alliance does. - Rory's comment that after he is voted out, Yasur is going to burn. This was reinforced by comments that Chris made about burning as many of the women as possible. - MB threw us another checks comment, when Chris and Eliza talked about the checks. - And Scout burns Eliza by casting the winning vote for Chris, giving her final revenge on the little one and closing the storyline on their animosity. After all, we learned early on that Scout didn't like Eliza from the very beginning. - Quoting Bawdy's post on the Early Show thread: Julie Chen asked Julie- will Chris voting you out and lying to you based on your friendship come into play if he is in the final 2 and Julie said "I hope so!" This could imply that Chris is in the final 2 and Julie voted against him. Would she vote for Twila or Scout over Chris? Debatable, given her obvious feelings of alienation from them shown in the last episode. But would she vote for Eliza over Chris? Absolutely. Chris gets votes from Chad, Sarge, Twila, and Scout. Eliza gets votes from Julie, Ami, and Leann.   Top

Twila being the desparate to avoid a tie and desparate to advance to F3, and who does have an F2 alliance with Chris, "will kick Scout to the curb", to save her own neck. Scout-F4 Twila will outlast and win the endurance IC at F3 choosing Chris, as Eliza has way too many friends on the jury and a big sister. Eliza-F3 Twila does'nt have a prayer as Chris outlasts them all,Twila-F2 Chris-F1, the surprise winner Sure hope this is not just wishful thinking, the fp has spoken,   Top

"Scout/Chris/Twila/Eliza" Strictly based on the editing of the players: Chris has been edited pretty sympathically and I would rate him as the "star" of this Survivor. That does not usually bode well in winning the game. Only Richard of SI and Brian of S5 have been so upfront on the show and still won. Chris seems more like a Lex, Kathy or Rob C. so that means third. Twila appears to be the sore loser/second place finisher in the mold of Clay or Lill. Twila seems clueless that she would lose to everybody else in the final four. She may win immunity and take Eliza to the F2 if Scout is gone. That only leaves Eliza and Scout. Both have been edited in such a way that either could win in my opinion. But Eliza seems more capable of winning immunity and smart enough to ditch Chris at the end since she felt that he screwed her over last TC. Here's hoping with a little luck that the F2 is any combo but Twila and Scout.   Top
