...instead of Russell, can we just refer to him as "token" cause that's all he is. And I guarantee he won't last past the next episode, which is all that the official reality tv token contract guarantees anyway. I'd love to be in the back room for these shows when they tell the bachelor/bachelorette which contestants have already been guaranteed a rose in advance. I can just picture it now.....

"Now Trista, you have some tough choices ahead of you with only 15 roses. We've decided that you must take at least some minorities or else we'll have Jesse Jackson on our doorstep by the morning. So, we've lined up one black guy and two asian dudes for you to choose from. Now, you dont' have to take them all, and you sure as heck don;t have to keep them past the first rose ceremony, but you do have to take at least one of them in the first round. If you don't want the black guy then you MUST take both Asian dudes since they're not as minority-identifiable as the black guy so we need two of them to let the audience know that this isn't an officially sponsored KKK dating show. BUt, if you do take the black guy then you can 86 the Asian dudes cause, well, have you seen the black guy? He's quite dark and that will show up really good on even the worst television sets. Also, take the fat guy cause he's the only one who might be able to crack a joke or two. Plus, who doesn't like to see the fat guy get rejected down the road anyay? ALso, make sure you take the really pathetic stalker kid cause that might be our only chance at landing a "cryer" and we all know that if we don't have a cryer then we sure don't have an Emmy. Alright Trista, after the black guy, the fat guy, the cryer, plus the 7 guys who are guarnteed spots in the second round per their contracts negotiated by their talent agencies, that leaves you with 2 people that you can pick on your own. Good Luck!"

Did anyone notice that Trista looked different than she looked in "The Bachelor"? "The Bachelorette" show must have done her hair and makeup and someone must have picked out that dress for her. She always dressed in beautiful, aluring dresses on "The Bachelor" and her hair was always her own unique style. This time she looked ("ready to Rock") a little too sleezy. Maybe they'll let her pick her own clothes, and men, next week.

Oh my heck, it's a shakes sighting...

Never mind the race token, where was the height token -- Trista's only 5' 2", what's with every guy being 6' plus?
