SurvivorBlows 15230 desperate attention whore postings DAW Level: "Playboy Centerfold" 01-06-02, 01:59 PM (EST) ""The It Factor" -- a BravoTV reality TV show" Anyone else hear about this, it starts tonight (Sunday.) ...any chance it had of getting viewers is probably gone with HBO airing new episodes of "Sex In The City" and "Project Greenlight" against it, but it sounds somewhat interesting (maybe Jerri can show up on it as well ) http://www.bravotv.com/sections/shows_itfactor.php THE IT FACTOR is an original half hour reality series that traces the blood, sweat and tears that make up the life of an actor. It's a fast-paced "day-in-the-life" look at a diverse group of talented actors trying to get that one big break. The thirteen part series follows a cast of twelve actors as they strive to make "IT" as successful actors in New York City. Over two thousand men & woman auditioned for one of the twelve coveted spots on the show. The chosen few live their day to day lives‹everything from waiting tables to cleaning houses to make a buck, then spend every free minute auditioning for that one big role that will turn them into household names. Experience the determination, disappointments and triumphs that inevitably happen as each actor travels on his or her personal journey to find that one big break. "RE: "The It Factor" -- a BravoTV reality TV show" If I had HBO I would have watched SITC. So...I watched The It Factor, a mildly entertaining peek at life as a struggling actor. Last night we caught a glimpse of the hell on earth known as the audition. Everyone got asked the same questions over and over again, which was boring after the first, oh, three. The callbacks had to do a monologue. Loved the guy who did one about not having a monologue prepared. He also made a couple of funny references to "Fame" and "Flashdance." I hope he's back as part of the cast. There's also Queen Esther (I think),a woman the auditioners didn't like and made catty remarks about and yet she seemed to be the first to be picked for the show. I'll give it another shot-if I remember to tune in.   Top
