They decide that Lopevi's beach will be new home. They'll figure out tribe name and flag later at camp. Today's challenge: Water race. Swim to tower, climb, walk balance beam, jump put flag back in stand. First 2 to get flags will move on to finals; two heats. Julie, Eliza LeAnn, Chris, Sarge are heat one. Sarge and Christ first to ladder. Sarge has one flag. Then Eliza, Chris. Julie and LeAnn struggling. Sarge, Eliza Chris have 2nd flags. LeAnn is wearing down. Chris passes Eliza. Sarge has 3rd. Eliza takes Chris over again, moves on to finals with Sarge. 2nd heat: Rory, Chad, Twila, Scout, Ami. Rory and Ami first to tower. Rory has first flag, then Ami and Chad. Rory has big lead. Chad fell off tower, hangs on. Rory and Ami have 2, but both winded. Still, Rory wins, and Ami both move on. Finals: Rory, Sarge, Ami, Eliza. Sarge has first flag, Rory, Ami right behind. Sarge and Rory have 2nd flags. Everyone worn out. Sarge ahead with 3rd Flag. Sarge wins Immunity.

I am not sure. I don't think it was racially based (and I shouldn't get into the argument), but to tell the truth, I am a horrible judge of motives, so I wouldn't know.I don't buy for one second it was because he was strong. I just think that Twila and Julie heard the news from Ami that she wanted Rory out, and they tried to convince the guys with a BS reason. When push comes to shove and I had to choose why I think Ami wanted Rory out, I have to think it was just a dislike of him as a person and the amount of information he holds from Yasur. He was the only male who had any of the information from the Reward Challenge where the women learned a lot of tactics for using the resources around them (Twila/Julie may have shown the guys, but I may have missed it). Not to mention, he knows the bonds in the tribe, and Ami showed too much of her hand, assuming Rory's departure. She wanted the knowledge out of the tribe that could hurt her, and Julie/Twila went along. I don't get why. I can understand Twila following when Julie went over there, but I'm getting off the track. Rory was a physical threat, but I don't buy that was the reason, and I don't think (not sure) that racism was in action. I just think Ami would castrate half the males on Earth and would place the other half underground for breeding purposes.

I agree that Rory's boot wasn't racial, but i don't agree that it wasn't because he was strong, in the challenges at least.He's doen very well in every swimming challenge, remember he passed up sarge in the rope guiding challenege, and came in second( or close to it) on this challenge. Won the slingshot challenge basically by himself. Smart enough to think of using his buff and other clothing to try and get more water in this last RC. I think Twila saw him as the threat that he was, and by getting rid of him, and next week going back to the guys and explaining what she did, and why, she and Julie will be in a 5 person alliance, as oppsed to a 6 person(with all the women, or with the 4 guys). In either case, staying with a 6 person alliance, Twila/Julie were probably 5&6 in those alliances. By getting rid of Rory and then going back with the guys, they are at least 4&5 now, and with how close they both got with Sarge, could even move up that ladder.  AlwaysInTruble

I am totally relieved to see him go. He has been so very negative the whole time. When he pulled out the slave card: "I'm not gonna slave around here if ur just gonna vote me out" I almost threw up. Hi ancestors were probably rolling in their grave that he should use that to try to get ahead. I'm sorry for Twilla cause I know she did better with the guys. However, she's smart. The numbers were with the girls. Why would she go with the guys? Julie - well she sold herself, that's all I'm gonna say. Eliza? surprised me with the swimming. Went up a notch in my book. Ami: she got a target on her back now. Whew, wouldn't want to be her. Scout: useless it seems in competitions, but what a great tribe name and flag. Sarge: poor guy. Ego bruised by women. Just think, if they get Julie and Twila back (even for one episode) they have a 5-3 advantage on the women. As Twila said, she feels bad about not voting with the guys, but this vote was just to get Rory out. I have a feeling that they will be able to get Twila (maybe not Julie) back to them for a few odd TC's. If you ask me, it's Julie and Twila who are screwed. They will be seen as playing everyone. My thoughts are Julie and Twila will be eliminated (mutually by boys and girls) in the next two episodes because they can't be trusted. Then we will have a final 7 of four girls and 3 boys. Which isn't so bad for numbers.

As she said, she's sticking with the ladies, which a lot of people read as "I'm allied with anyone but men" but to me, I read it as "I'm sticking with my original alliance". I don't think she's a men-hater either or Rory and Bubba wouldn't be so comfortable with her. Rory has made it plain that Ami's probably his best friend in Yasur (though he was bitter that she didn't let him in on her alliance), and Bubba asking Ami to tell him if he was next on the chopping block suggests that there's some sort of a rapport between them. I think Ami's just more comfortable with women (not to sterotype, but I know a lot of my lesbian friends feel that way as well. Not so much that they hate men but more because they're more comfortable with women). And she does seem to get along very well with the women (with the exception of Lisa). Leann's tight with her, Eliza confided in her when she lost the pig challenge, Scout and her are frequently shown strategizing together, Julie's cozy with her, and Twaila is fine with her (haven't heard Twaila said anything bad about Ami and they seem to have made up after the hair-braiding fiasco-- hugging on the beach and in the shelter). But I gotta say she's playing the game too straight-up (which is pretty dumb considering this is Survivor). She didn't want to lie to Rory and tell him that he wasn't next in line at Yasur. She could have done that but she just didn't. I think she was just way too honest and way over-confident about the tightness of the women's alliance. These will be her downfall since she didn't hedge her bets with Rory. And Rory's prediction will come true-- "Yasur will burn once I'm voted off". I admire Ami's honesty in the game but her honesty's gonna cost her the game. She's done for if Twaila and Julie don't come through with the women next episode. Definitely toast if she didn't win next episode's IC. I hope she could somehow save herself coz she's shown to be a smart player with good social skills. Too bad that she's just too honest.

exactly what I was thinking - except...for some reason when the wimmen do try sticking to an alliance they do it in a whingy whiny way - except for Ami. That's why everyone probably hates her because she's a straight (so to speak) shooter! When she told Rory that the sisters were sticking together and he could lie back and enjoy the ride instead of complaining about the work he was doing I smiled.
I like her work!
