"Can you go home again?" |
I think it is fsscinating how the members of the tribes are dealing with the switch. In the first switch in Africa, the people switched never lost the loyalty of their original tribes. The were even signally each other covertly during challenges about who had votes from prior TCs.This year, we have Rory switched and believing he can't go home again. However, the guy strategy seems to be that once the merge takes place Rory be able to come home and they will greet him with open arms. There is no other reasonable explanation for voting out John. The remaining L guys assume they will have the votes of Rory and Twila and maybe Julie. Twila and Julia are also switched and seem to doubt whether they can go back to the irl alliance. However, the girls of Y seem so confident that Julie and Twila will return to them that they are pissing off Rory and letting him know he has no chance of staying. The real question is how the switched guys (Rory, Twila and Julie) vote after the merge and that may very well depend on whether their old tribes are able to convince them that nothing has changed. The answer to this question will probably determine the winner of the game. From what I have seen, it seems easier for the guys to explain to Rory why John was voted out over Julie and Twila then explain to Twila and Julie why Rory was kept over Lisa. If the guys can do that and keep Twila on there side, they can start to pagong the woman
