THE RAVINGS
STATE OF THE SPOILING
EPISODE 7
Once upon a midnight dreary, while I pondered, weak and weary
Over many a quaint and curious threading of Survivor lore -
Turn, a moment, from my findings, reflect upon this board’s own guidelines,
Strive you to uphold these bindings, ‘breviated by Technoir:
Read a little, pause to ponder, and then read a little more,
Only then may you post yours.
Ah, distinctly I remember it was midway through September;
Eighteen castaways did venture, out upon their Vanuatour.
Eagerly I’d watched the premiere - vainly I’d applied to be there -
I’d memorized every detail, as Jeff snuffed each loser’s torch.
Yet, memory fades, and you might, feel the need to refresh yours;
Read Vols’ SOTS the week before.
As I pondered weak and weary, I recalled Outfrontgirl theory.
About whose fate I should be leery, of long lasting time tenure?
Sifting through every inflection, of CBS Misdirection,
I had reached a revelation, with which you should find accord.
Many of this week’s previews were taken from the week before.
Something’s there to hide for sure.
1. "One member's lack of work ethic prompts negative reactions in the tribe."
2. "After winning a hard-fought Challenge, one tribe is rewarded with more than just sustenance." 3. "One Survivor, in danger of being voted off, wins a Challenge for the tribe, thus buying more time on the island."
4. "A potential target at Tribal Council, one Survivor tries to convince the rest that another tribemate should be next to go
Deep into the Vidcaps peering, long I stared there, wondering, fearing.
Nothing much to learn appearing, pushed me to become unsure.
Eagerly I scanned Web Promos, the caps here were more apropos.
Helped me figure whom was to go, and the winner of Reward.
Difficult to fathom but it could be a sweep for Yasur.
The rationale, I’ll explore.
First who wins the Reward challenge? “Hard fought” fits the relay rally,
And as it may require balance, Lopevians may fail to score.
Plus, all the tearful vid captures, contrasted with Lopevi’s raptures,
And the talk of Yasur fractures, misdirection rest assured.
All Lopevi celebration caps are from the week before.
Hold, I have a little more.
Why were we shown all the crying? Is Yasur’s spirit now dying?
Can’t these losers go down trying? Wait a minute - what’s reward?
Perhaps they cry at what they view, home movies could make them boohoo?
Check the glare on Scout’s glasses too; doubt Sam Buru? - Nevermore.
Sustenance and more were promised to the winners of Reward.
Vids clinch winning for Yasur.
We can infer slingshot’s IC - it just fits that mold more nicely
Squares the preview blurb precisely - someone singly shoots, saves, soars.
Minimal caps from the shooting - Cowpoke Chad looks rootin’ tootin’.
His tribe mates are happ’ly rooting, wait we’ve seen those caps before.
Last weeks happy caps recycled are significant I’m sure.
Why don’t we see more Yasur?
The few caps of IC imply, they hide something from our own eyes.
The winner should be a surprise. This fits underdog Yasur.
On thin ice and needs protection, wins by self, says Misdirection.
Solo winner ‘scapes ejection, better fits ‘Liza or Ror’.
JK/Julie face time spikes mean time with Lopevi losers.
Winning IC too - Yasur.
Misdirection mentioned lazy, whom it referred to stayed hazy.
Web caps cleared up it was JK, he’s the slothful one for sure.
Why show JK in such danger -- risking Lea’s recycled anger.
Why would he sit, what’s his angle? Even Julie’s shown at chores.
Workers booting lazy ones, or vice versa, is de rigueur.
He must leave to check Friendster.
Is JK flirting hard with Julie? After glimpsing her tan booty,
Who could blame him, she’s a cutie; flirting’s what she was cast for.
Or is Julie playing the game? Using her wiles free of all shame,
After all JK is quite lame. Is she manipulator?
In “they won’t see it coming,” whom are “they” the reference for?
Pause to ogle her once more.
This week’s bootee will be JK. Save himself? There’s really no way.
Flab three plus one means he won’t stay, Twila’s a better man for sure.
He or Julie might maneuver; to remain, that’s the endeavor,
That got Jules to work, she’s clever. Virtue is its own reward.
JK’s a lazy brat - his final speech to Lea: “Eat my shorts.”
Don’t believe me? Check Snewser.
VerucaSalt has observations, ‘pon players and game machinations,
And the editing variations, in Mark Burnett’s repertoire.
Weekly she sifts implications, confessional revelations,
Compares tribal disputations, for the relevancy born.
Pondering imponderables, never pondered ‘pon before.
Desperate Attention Whore.
Now the Battle Really Begins could refer to merger tweaking,
As old alliances weaken, or they expire premature.
Ep 8 title thread discussion focuses on all the fussing.
What will be the repercussions, should they share a single shore?
Will Lea’s fourth wheel stick by him? Does Twila jilt him for Yasur?
What becomes of poor ol’ Ror’?
Post Merge Prospects soon will ripen. In Yasur Rory fits right in.
Will he flip back to flab fightin’, or does TwiLea shut that door?
Also what becomes of ‘Liza; will she join up with her rival?
Do she and Rory play both sides off, all the way to final four?
Re: King of Hill’s Bill Dauterive, will Twila be Lea’s lost Lenore?
Which side is she playing for?
Then me thought, the air grew denser, perfumed from an unseen censer
Swung by Seraphaem whose thread-falls tinkled on this very board
Prophet! Said I, thing of evil! -- prophet still, if bird or devil

desperate attention whore
Soon we will see family visits, and who will be present for this?
Which castaways make the short list? Six or seven, not much more.
In these last two topics appearing, you can read several rare theories.
It leaves me quite weak and weary, sorting out disputed lore.
What to really make of this? The water’s been muddied o’er.
After merge we’ll soon know more.
Verily, and thus my ravings, at least never call me craven.
Not when I’ve just been parading, out my theses, good and poor.
Hold a moment, from inferring, loss of sanity’s occurring.
My little tics aren’t that disturbing; I’ll take time for these small chores.
Vote in SherpaDave’s vote thread, just remember, that curves are poor.
Check your Spoiler Island score.
“Be those words our sign of parting, rhyme or fiend,” I shrieked upstarting.
“Get thee back into my memory and the Night’s Plutonian shore!
Whatever rhyming fiend awoken, posting powers mine are broken.
Desolate my mind has spoken, exhausts now my repertoire.
Petered out this paltry meter, posting poetry piss poor.
Rhythmic thetick - Nevermore!
