OK, I know no one watches ABC and all, but did anyone else out there happen to catch last night's premiere of this program? http://www.realitytvworld.com/thedatingexperiment/ I'm not sure if Paradise Hotel ran late or ABC just started their show a minute or two early, but I missed the first minute or so of the program. Since the show apparently has been filmed for over a year, it makes you wonder whatever happened to any of these folks long-term... (even if one thing reality TV has shown is that these relationships rarely work out) -SB

"Episode 1003" - Ed, a businessman from Fairfield, CT, is paired with Shanna, a topless dancer from Las Vegas. But as their once-in-a-lifetime date unfolds in the lush tropical forests and sunny beaches of beautiful Puerto Rico, the diary commands Shanna to keep her scandalous livelihood a secret, on "The Dating Experiment," WEDNESDAY, JULY 9 (10:00-11:00 p.m., ET), on the ABC Television Network. Hector Elizondo narrates. "The Dating Experiment" is based on the successful Japanese reality series "The Future Diary," originally produced and developed by the Tokyo Broadcasting System. Each week complete strangers leave home for a secret destination and agree to live their lives controlled by the diary. Participants in the American version of the series were chosen from among more than 1,500 applicants at open casting calls across the country. Vin Di Bona (executive producer, "America's Funniest Home Videos") is executive producer, along with Daniel Swartz. Kathy Wetherell ("Love Cruise," "Real World"), Terry Moore and Steve Paskay are co-executive producers of the American version of the series, from Greengrass Productions Inc. and Vin Di Bona Worldwide Entertainment in association with DS Entertainment. This program carries a TV-PG,S parental guideline.

I liked the show also, but what concerned me was the obvious. Anyone who looked at Brandon's body language, like when he hugged Sarah he stuck his pelvis as far away from her as possible, the fact he is "always the best friend, never the boyfriend" the fact Sarah felt sisterly towards him and his spiel "I don't have confidence around girls" is he was giving off an obvious vibe of being a closeted gay boy, so in denial he probably doesn't realize it himself...Brandon honey, keep going to gym, wake up and smell the coffee, and I guarantee you will be a great catch for some nice boy...
