I would read Al's actions as wanting to go for the exemption. At the time they were asked "who is the most tired" not "who wants to leave." In that position, I would expect and exemption offer would be coming and that the person singled out would be the one offered an exemption. So Al is not the mole.
But Dorothy knowing the clue to the combination -- I still can't figure out what her theory was. The possibility of randomly selecting a four digit combination is almost 10,000-1. For her to come up with it based on incorrect reasoning is nearly impossible. She is the mole
