PLEASE NOTE: The Reality TV World Message Boards are filled with desperate
attention-seekers pretending to be one big happy PG/PG13-rated family. Don't
be fooled. Trying to get everyone to agree with you is like herding cats,
but intolerance for other viewpoints is NOT welcome and respect for other
posters IS required at all times. Jump in and play, and you'll soon find out
how easy it is to fit in, but save your drama for your mama. All members are
encouraged to read the
complete guidelines.
As entertainment critic Roger
Ebert once said, "If you disagree with something I write, tell me so, argue
with me, correct me--but don't tell me to shut up. That's not the American way."

Well, we made it through the SHOCKINGEST. TWIST. EVER. As usual, it was typical overblown brak brak brak. Much like the Veep debates. But elections? That's minor stuff. There's spoiling afoot! As always, it never hurts to keep the Community and Spoiler Board guidlines in mind when posting. Play nice kids, or the Blue Peeps will turn this board around and go home. Now, the week can't start until last week's bootees have appeared on the Early Show. There's a lot of discussion there about whether Mia ever got the chance to discuss her boot with Julie or Lisa at Loser Lodge, as well as who is the brains behind the Fat Five. Of course, if you REALLY want to reach back, check out this Conference Interview with Jiffy, where he offers some interesting opinions on where the alliances will go from here. We've also had the episode title for a couple of weeks now, and while a lot of it is older news, it's still worth revisiting for any timeline questions that may remain. Of course, the immediate question that must be answered is how the Yasur "bowheads" will react to finding out that Lisa turned on their alliance. Why did she do it? The Insider shines a little light on Lisa's reasoning, as well as showing how easy it might have been to sway Leann and Ami. Is the "burly girls" alliance as strong as it seems? The post-show promo gives us a look at Eliza's reaction to the vote, as well as showing Brady's attempt to become Rupert 2.0. Will the OutfrontGirl theory prove valid again? If so, Brady, Bubba, Eliza, and Lisa all seem to be in jeopardy. According to the SeeBS Misdirection, Bubba is getting a little homesick, which also could put a target on his back. We also get hints of someone being a "puppet master" at their tribe. Eliza? We're also introduced to the prospect of a mysterious stranger, and the Web Promo gives us a look at him, as well as our first challenge shots. Interestingly enough, we only have shots from one challenge, and since there's no Immunity Idol shown, the question has been asked, Is there an Immunity Challenge this week? Or is it being hidden so that we're surprised by a Tribe Reshuffling? But the real reason we're here is to figure out who's going home tonight. Fester reminds us about the Vanuatu newspaper spoiler regarding a "cute girl" voted out before the July 10th article. But who is the cute girl? Does it refer to Dolly or Mia, who are already gone? Or is it someone who hasn't gone yet, like Julie, Eliza, Lisa, or John K? Krautboy has a wonderful confessional analysis, showing the boots thus far in relation to face time. Always worth a read, not just to see who is in danger of going, but who is positioned to last a while. VerucaSalt started a thread on the editing of this show that is constantly giving us food for thought, including KOBrien's thoughts on the John Nash theory of Survivor. Looking ahead, we already have the title for Episode 5, and discussion is already going quite well. Snewser's scorecard is another excellent source for how the game will play out. And if you're one of those people who looks for hints in the opening sequence, we've got something for you as well. There's what we've got, spoilage-wise. Hope it helps, and no matter what, don't forget to vote! SOTS is provided by SurvivorBlows.com as a service to our readers. The purpose of this post is to consolidate the threads in the Spoiler Forum pertaining to this week's episode. Feel free to reply to this post if you feel that a theory you support was not adequately represented in this message... Please use this thread for unified discussion of all topics as we approach the next episode.

18. "Brady can't go to New York" |
Great SOTS, Draco!Just found this link at Fever: http://worldofwonder.net/archives/2004/10/06/surviving_survivor.php Key quote from Brady's fiance: "So unless some miracle happens, you won't see much more of Brady. Even if he wins the mill they probably won't let him have it. They have told him he can not go to New York and do any post production, not a single appearance or interview." Aside: "Brady can't go to NY" and Snewser is late...
