Downing tequila,single malt scotches,and guinness,
at one of my favourite watering holes in New York city,
D.B.A a bar on 1st AVe between 2nd& 3rd st at 2:30 A.M
thursday evening/friday morning,the bartender comes over
to our little group of far too regular patrons,and
breathlessly announces:Colleen from Survivor will be here in
15 Minutes!!!Seems his friend is dating one of Colleen's
girl friends--more on her in a moment--and was going to
swing on by with her &America's sweetheart in tow.
I was rather ambivalent about her showing up.The inane
nature of fame/celebrity annoys me whenever i have personally
met someone who has had the coin of celebrity bestowed on
them,yet it's also a giggle and I like the democratic
ideal of everybody getting their 15 minutes.Furthermore,
none of my bar friends would have been caught dead watching
a cheesy show like survivor;artsy/intellectuals don't you
know.Well,none would admit to it.Also,quite frankly, we live
in Manhattan were use to seeing celeb.Well we at least like
to posture ourselves as being above the gushing admirers,"
Hey,I saw you on Television,Can i Have your autograph."
There was the further problem of my being completely
blottoed from the drink and hash we had smoked about a half-
hour earlier.Regardless,by the time i could put two thoughts
together without tripping over them,Colleen,Her girlfriend,
and her girlfriends boyfriend,a slick agent type,were sitting
downwind from us at the bar.I made sure to order a drink
just before Colleen came in,a belgian pale ale that i can't
recall the name of,because i had correctly surmised that
our bartender was not going to swing back to our section
of the bar for a good long while.
Well,i tried to get a good long look at colleen through
the smoky bar haze,and managed to drink her in with my eyes
without her noticing.this wasn't easy because my view was
"obstructed" by Colleen's friend.What became readily apparent
was that colleen's friend,her name started with "g",was
a good deal more physically attractive than My Survivor
Sweetheart.I'm not sure, but G might be the friend that
colleen accompanied to one of the Survivor auditions.The
story is that colleen just showed up at the audition to
support her friend,lo and behold she receives the casting
call.I can see why G wasn't picked.She's a bit too attractive
to be on Survivor.Something I believe the survivor producers
wanted to avoid.Don't take my opinion as gospel,survivor 2
could have Victoria secret models on both tribes for all I
truly know.What I'm trying to say is that Cute colleen, was
the best looking of a not-so-attractive bunch on the survivor
series.Although,i do believe she has a certain winsome,
revealing charisma that works well on Camera.Ok I admit,i'm
stoned now also.
But back to G,she was a athletic,curvaceous blonde wearing
a pink shirt,and mid-length white floral skirt.She "sat"
with her knees on the bar stool, her hands on the bar,and
moving her butt around in rhythmic,canine fashion.This was
enough to grab the attention of my artsy/dramtic/intellectual
friends ,both men and women by the way,who asked me "is
that Colleen" I said "no,it's the thin brunette with the
shaggy hair-do and the tan wrap-around skirt.The one
smoking a Cigarrette".Sorry,for you non-drug-taking Colleen
fans>Colleen smokes and drinks.The informal bar consensus
was that G was more attractive than Colleen.But how could
they appreciate the enchanting Aura that colleen possesses??
For that matter,how could I in my drug-addled stupor???
Anyway,to make a long story short,Colleen and G eventually
left;the bartender eventually was able to swim back in
our direction.He told us that he was going to meet up with
Colleen & G at his friends house;and no,We Couldn't come
along.What would i have said anyway."Hey,I saw you on tv."
I feel a bit bad for colleen.She now has to suss out who
wants to know her strictly because she is famous.Even
Boy friends...As for BiancasEquineEscort,no such worries.
