I'd say this is a typical list of a young sucks poster that started watching late, probably during Cook islands and watched the early seasons on the fly. Any list that puts Borneo and Australia at the bottom doesn't understand the show's history. To say they are slow is to compare them to later seasons instead of evaluating them on how they made you feel when they aired. That's my main criteria: How I liked it when it aired. 2nd and 3rd watch should only serve to reveal hidden gems, not alter initial reaction.
>1. PEARL ISLANDS S7 - The perfect survivor season.
(PI is generally #1 over at Sucks...as much as any consensus can be reached there. I liked it but hated the Outcast twist)
>2. COOK ISLANDS S13 - In
>a word, epic. To watch
>20 people in 4 tribes
>battle it out to get
>down to 1 was a
>great journey.
(the 4 tribes lasted 5 days! This had so much production manipulation that it cannot be this high)
>3. HEROES VS VILLAINS S20 -
>A fanboy’s wet dream, it
>did not disappoint.
(It was funny, until you realized that Russhell and Parvati were in on the joke. He should keep his wet dreams for himself)
>4. MICRONESIA S16 - A great
>concept, but the Fan’s tribe
>was laughably bad, cue blindsides
>galore and memorably stupid moments.
(How can he rate it this high if he hates half the cast?)
>5. CHINA S15 - Beautiful location,
>inventive and unique challenges, and
>one of the best casts ever
(Finally, a good decision)
>6. VANUATU S9 - Chris had
>one of the best winner’s
>stories ever, to come back
>after being outnumbered by 6
>women.
(Two in a row)
>7. NICARAGUA S21 - Constantly unpredictable,
>there were many memorable moments.
(What? The only unpredictability was NaONka. I put it way down the list)
>8. PHILIPPINES S25 - The three
>tribe twist worked fantastically well,
>and we got a season
>that was always interesting.
(My definition of fantastically well doesn't include a season where 1 tribe is so pathetic that it goes to every TC. S25 is a really bad season)
>9. PALAU S10 - Despite no
>original gimmick, still ends up
>being one of the most
>unique seasons as one tribe
>decimated the other.
(20 people on the same beach was a great idea. This guy sees what he wants to see so I won't give it any any further attention)
