Kim didn't need Troy to vote for Mike.

The women were 6-5 at that point and Tarzan and Leif would have gladly voted for Mike.

That gives her 8 votes to split the vote 5-3 and assure Mike was gone even if the HII was played.

Of course, it isn't like Troy would have given Mike his HII anyway, hahaha... I mean, come on.

And it is also very unlikely that Jay would have voted outside the majority.

Plus, forget splitting the vote. Kim could have just told Troy and Jay that they were voting for Alicia, and then told the women to vote for MIke. That would have worked just as well.

Voting for Mike was a no brainer. The edit, of course, tried to add as much strategy and drama as they could to it, but 2 seconds after Jonas was sent packing, I turned to my wife and said Mike was next. I also posted that immediately on these boards as well.

The women had the numbers advantage and could vote out whoever they wanted. It made sense to go after the strongest male.

Salani was also up 7-4 on Manono, making it easy enough for Kim and Chelsea to tell Troy and Jay that it was a good time to get rid of the biggest challenge threat.

If the men wouldn't hold together to save Jonas who was universally liked and aligned with Troy and Jay, like they would stick together to protect Mike.

No way. Mike was the most predictable boot of this entire season. Only winning the IC would have saved him.
