I'm not surprised being there was very little love for Tony (even though he clearly outplayed the other castaways this season.)I had three problems with Tony.
1) I didn't find him very likable as a person.
2) He played a very inelegant game. He told lies he didn't need to tell. Overall, it felt like he didn't win the game so much as a few other cast members lost it.
3) Too many freaking idols. I understand, that's production's fault, but Tony had so much immunity by mid season that it made the whole show a bit boring. I flat out fast forwarded through 2/3 of one episode and skipped parts of a couple of others. And honestly, I think having all those idols contributed significantly to #2. It allowed him to get away with being sloppy in his social game.
Thanks to tribephyl for the sigpic!
