Spokesperson" 04-08-04, 10:45 PM (EST) "did i miss something with amber?" why was amber so willing to get rid of rupert or jenna over lex or kathy. i thought her and jenna were friends and she had a deal with jenna and rupert first.   Top

I would guess that Amber felt guilty because Lex and Kathy saved her from being booted over Jerri. I think Rob and Amber's plan is to have a duo such as Jenna/Rupert or Lex/Kathy to ride to final 5 with because they have a 3way alliance with Tom (Tom probably thinking he is in a 2-way alliance with Rob). I would also guess Alicia was going to be the back up if Tom switched over to Lex's side. Amber wanted to change out Rupert/Jenna for Lex/Kathy for saving her.   Top

Lex and Kathy voted for Amber and not Rob during last tribal council. Kathy said it was because Amber made a promise and not kept it. I think when Amber was with Mogo Mogo, she told Lex and Kathy that if they save her, then after merge, Rob and them can go all the way. That's why Amber was very reluctant to vote against Lex and suggested voting for Rupert/Jenna.
