Mizz Eve 368 desperate attention whore postings DAW Level: "Cooking Show Host" 04-08-04, 08:48 PM (EST) "Guest Judge Quentin Tarantino?" I love Quentin Tarantino. He's a great screenwriter and director, but what the he|| qualifies him to judge AI? Since there are no Uma lookalikes, who will he go for? He definitately has a funk side to his personality, so I'm thinking that he'll love Fantasia. Will he be the typical guest judge and just offer vacant remarks? Or, will he actually say anything of substance? I'm thinking that he has a difficult time containing his opinions, so he'll probably be a bit more critical than other guest judges. On the other hand, he has a film coming out soon, so he'll probably play it safe. Maybe one of the PTTE bonus questions should be "how many times will QT promo Kill Bill Pt 2?"   Top

I don't think of music when I think of QT, except that his movies usually have kickin' memorable soundtracks (who of us can ever listen to "Stuck in the Middle with You" again the same way?) I'll become a hard-core George fan if he does "Strawberry Letter 23" if that could count as a movie song. Hey, it was in a movie! Maybe QT is there because he has a good nose for pop culture in general. That's the only thing I can come up with.   Top

Jennifer, Latoya, and Diana look gorgeous as always but my goodness Fantasia, is proving she really doesn't know class with that eyeshadow, it's just scary.It's really nice of Fantasia to hang all over JPL in this picture, Lord knows she acted like JPL and John Stevens had a disease when she was standing in the middle group with them.   Top

I think he's a terrific DAW and surely knows great music when he hears it. Check out the soundtracks to his movies for proof. Letter perfect for the movie every time. Another point in his favor: he has said that during his time working in video stores that he watched every movie in them and he has shown through his work that he is perhaps one of the greatest students of the history of celluloid. Who better to be a guest judge for movie music theme week? You'd perhaps rather Vangelis? Last but not least, he's also well-known for actually having an opinion. That has to be a major improvement over all of the other vapid commentary provided by the previous dim bulbs they've had in that spot. For once, perhaps, Simon won't have to be the only one that has something valid to say.   Top
