PLEASE NOTE: The Reality TV World Message Boards are filled with desperate
attention-seekers pretending to be one big happy PG/PG13-rated family. Don't
be fooled. Trying to get everyone to agree with you is like herding cats,
but intolerance for other viewpoints is NOT welcome and respect for other
posters IS required at all times. Jump in and play, and you'll soon find out
how easy it is to fit in, but save your drama for your mama. All members are
encouraged to read the
complete guidelines.
As entertainment critic Roger
Ebert once said, "If you disagree with something I write, tell me so, argue
with me, correct me--but don't tell me to shut up. That's not the American way."

1. "Episode 3" |
Wednesday, October 13, 8/7c "Walkabout" Survivors are jolted awake in the middle of the night when wild island beasts invade the beach encampment. Kate and Michael join the mysterious Locke on a hunt for food — and a shocking secret about Locke is revealed. Meanwhile, some survivors are horrified by Jack's plan for the dead bodies still scattered among the wreckage, and Jack sees someone in the jungle who might not have been on the plane. Source: ABCWild island beasts- more than one? It sounded like a large jungle cat was chasing Michael (the dad) through the woods. a shocking secret about Locke is revealed- hmmm what could that be? There is apparently a case with some big knives- are they Locke's or did he find them amid the wreckage? Anyway it looks like he's going to try to catch some fish. horrified by Jack's plan for the dead bodies- he probably wants to bury them or burn them. Hurley and the others probably don't want to go into the plane to get the bodies. Jack sees someone in the jungle who might not have been on the plane- this seems to indicate someone we have not seen before- could it be one of the people that sent the distress signal? a Phoenix Mons creature

9. "Monsters?" |
"Wild island beasts- more than one? It sounded like a large jungle cat was chasing Michael (the dad) through the woods."Do we even know if it regular animals? I know before we had the polar bear but what would have grabbed the pilot? Are these all animals only huge? Maybe a huge gorilla? After all it did not eat the pilot. My DH has mentioned that there are such "beings" in some of his video games that can summon creatures at will. Could it be a human like person summoning different beasts to do their bidding for that particular situation? This would also confuse the survivors and keep them(and viewers) wary and unable to prepare defenses. Handcrafted by RollDdice Don't Google "hairy toes"!!

24. "RE: Locke vs. the monster" |
LAST EDITED ON 10-14-04 AT 03:14 PM (EST)Yes, and yes. What was there? A monster, hallucination, other being, or ? Did it "do something" to him, or just pass him by? Did he say "no", because he didn't see it (invisible, etc.), doesn't have a memory of it, or is possessed/dead/changed? Inquiring Minds want to know! eTA: wait, I've got it - (in keeping with my Fantasy Island theme) - it was a Giant Helen!!!

27. "Yet another theory" |
Locke believed in some way that he was destined to go to the outback. But he was denied that. He is big into the "meant to be" and fate. Whatever that monster was or being maybe it made a deal with him. It explained how "it" restored his legs and in return Locke would be second or assistant, or a pawn for lack of better words. Maybe his purpose is to be the inside guy with the survivors. This thing does not even have to be evil. It could in the end turn out good. Although I would lean towards the evil part. Also wouldn't someone that survived at one point remember that he boarded in a wheelchair. Maybe not now with everything going on but wheelchair users usually board first right? He would have to go past everyone in the waiting area. Handcrafted by RollDdice Don't Google "hairy toes"!!

well yes, but it could have been anyone's chair; so many did not survive does any one study every other passenger; aren't most people preoccupied with their own goings on ?

At first I just assumed that the pregnant woman boarded the plane in the wheelchair. Maybe others did too?
