The only question so far I can come up with is why would a thread be locked such as the one about who will be next to be voted out? First of all, if you haven't done so you should read the forum guidelines here: http://community.realitytvworld.com/boards/DCForumID2/3679.shtml The thread by TheSpoiler was locked because the poster was simply theorizing a boot order based on hunches. There was no sourced spoiler as the subject suggested, and as Veruca Salt questioned in the thread, and no analysis based on anything concrete. It was strictly conjecture. (ETA: I am not a moderator either, but assume this was the reason.) People are welcome to post speculation about what *might* happen, but there should be solid reasoning behind it. We generally work at spoiling for the short-term, looking at the next episode or two. Usually speculation can be posted in an existing thread about the episode involved. Hope this helps! (And don't be surprised or upset if this thread gets locked as well.)   Top

Thanks Brown, I admit I didnt read the whole guidelines but I did do a word search for "lock" or "locked" and only found one reference which didnt explain why it would be used. I thought the same thing about the post when I read it. We could "I think" this will happen all to death with millions of scenarios but that would inefficient and frankly I am not interested enough in any show to read everyone's hopes and dreams about how it will turn out. I hope you enjoy it here. Second, I'm not a blue peep (moderator) so I can't answer the question perfectly but I'll try. I think the thread in question that you are talking about was locked because it became evident that it was not a spoiler (as in I know who is going because of this proof) but was more speculation. And because we have many threads that are more appropriate for speculation, it was locked so the discussion could remain in the more appropriate threads. We try to keep our boards clean so it keeps things less confusing. Could you imagine how bad it would be if we had 10 threads all discussing next week's immunity challenge? It would be hard to quote stuff and eventually stuff would be repeated to death making the place less fun. Three is the perfect number.   Top
