PLEASE NOTE: The Reality TV World Message Boards are filled with desperate
attention-seekers pretending to be one big happy PG/PG13-rated family. Don't
be fooled. Trying to get everyone to agree with you is like herding cats,
but intolerance for other viewpoints is NOT welcome and respect for other
posters IS required at all times. Jump in and play, and you'll soon find out
how easy it is to fit in, but save your drama for your mama. All members are
encouraged to read the
complete guidelines.
As entertainment critic Roger
Ebert once said, "If you disagree with something I write, tell me so, argue
with me, correct me--but don't tell me to shut up. That's not the American way."

Anybody notice that so far the teams have been to pretty safe countries? Were the producers afraid that they would get their throats cut in the Ugandan jungle? My guess is yes. So given this, where will TAR take the teams next on the ATW trip?Right now they are in Tunisia, a fairly easy-going north african country, that's twice in Africa already, they probably won't do another show there, so my guess is that the teams will head off eastward accross the Medittaranean Sea, or northeast to Italy and across Europe. Let's see, what would make an interesting destination after that... Hmmm... how about eastern Europe, Russia, Japan... but wait, what about Israel, India, Southeast Asia, Australia... And then what about the Americas? Since the USA in general and US TV in particular are great at snubbing Canada, you have to figure that they will go through South America, great potential there. Anybody want to venture a guess?

My guess is yes also. I don't expect them to see them in any country where Americans are not welcome and/or are likely to find themselves in trouble. >So given this, where >will TAR take the teams >next on the ATW trip? > > >Right now they are in Tunisia, >a fairly easy-going north african >country, that's twice in Africa >already, they probably won't do >another show there, so my >guess is that the teams >will head off eastward accross >the Medittaranean Sea, or northeast >to Italy and across Europe. The next show is set in the desert, which almost certainly means Tunisia again (Libya and Algeria are not safe; Egypt & Morocco are too far away). Beyond that, we've probably seen the last of Africa. My picks of their next destination are... 1. Turkey 2. Greece 3. Egypt 4. Germany 5. Italy 6. Eastern Europe 7. Russia/Ukraine Places I would be surprised to see them go: * Israel/Lebanon/West Bank/Syria/Jordan (too volatile) * Arabian peninsula (safe, but more desert) So I agree with you that their next move is probably east or northeast. Where they go after that, who knows, but it'll be interesting to find out.

<<I remember one of the former Yugoslav republics trying to stage a pride parade and having the crowd storm on them and beat everybody up.>> I think that has happened in cities in the U.S. also, at least being banned from being in parades. Are gays and lesbians are still banned from being in the New York St. Patrick's Day Parade? This may have changed and I missed it somewhere along the way. One needn't go to a strange land to find homophobic morons and bigots. We raise quite enough of our own.
