Because my CBS affliate carries twenty Steinbrenner's Stormtroopers games a year and aired one of them last night, BB5 was pushed back to a 1:30 a.m. showtime. This meant there was absolutely no chance of my being able to watch it. And the Pinstriped Pinheads were still off the air in time for TAR! So from this Mets fan, a sincere thanks to the Yankee franchise. For one night, you saved me from Scott. That's worth a lot. Really. (And on a more serious note: thank you to all the Yankee fans who were consoling Mets rooters all afternoon on the various radio talk shows. Your kind words on Murph's passing are appreciated, and we'll call for you when Bob Shepard's voice goes silent.)
