PLEASE NOTE: The Reality TV World Message Boards are filled with desperate
attention-seekers pretending to be one big happy PG/PG13-rated family. Don't
be fooled. Trying to get everyone to agree with you is like herding cats,
but intolerance for other viewpoints is NOT welcome and respect for other
posters IS required at all times. Jump in and play, and you'll soon find out
how easy it is to fit in, but save your drama for your mama. All members are
encouraged to read the
complete guidelines.
As entertainment critic Roger
Ebert once said, "If you disagree with something I write, tell me so, argue
with me, correct me--but don't tell me to shut up. That's not the American way."

In today's Detroit News, columnist Neil Rubin interviewed Keith Famie and Mike Skupin's sister.Keith said he was asked about availability and said no. His father was sick (and died in early December). Mike Skupin could not talk about Survivor with the reporter because of a "contract issue" with CBS. His sister said that Mike had cleared his calendar to appear on a previous season, but that fell through. Then, he was all set to go to All-Stars and "at the last minute" was told he would not be included. She believed that Mike is still hoping to be included on a later cast! (Not necessarily an All-Star cast).

http://www.canada.com/ottawa/ottawacitizen/news/arts/story.html?id=128bcd96-cc49-4e7f-947d-9281e84442ee...In a choice bit of Hollywood dramatics, CBS also announced a deal with executive producer Mark Burnett for two more Survivor editions - after Moonves and Burnett hammered it out by the escalators at the Renaissance Hollywood Hotel. A few minutes earlier, Burnett had complained to a roomful of reporters that he hadn't made his deal with CBS and time was running short. Moonves said he was happy with the deal, despite calling Burnett a "drama queen." It was inevitable: CBS wasn't about to make Survivor without the man who made it a sensation, and Burnett couldn't take it anywhere else because CBS owns the show... --- UDG
