I don't blame Antonia for not wanting anything to do with her loser dad. And as for Jennifer, she pretty much smirked her way through her entire stay at the SO house, so that's nothing personal to Antonia. I felt sorry for Jennifer - she got a raw deal. Her dad is a piece of doo doo, but if it enriches her life to believe that he cares about her, great. I think if he had cared enough, he wouldn't have been a drug dealer, but whatever .... That certainly doesn't mean every abandoned child should attempt to reunite with their incarcerated fathers.

But the thing that I thought was incredibly rude was the fact that the second Antonia lost her filling, cap, crown, whatever it was (what was in THAT salad, anyway? Rocks?) she just announced that she was leaving. How self-absorbed can ya get? What -- ya can't let Jennifer finish her lunch? Are you in pain? Do you have to be rushed to the dentist this second? Why couldn't she just whip out her cell phone and call her mommy right there at the table if it was such an emergency? They were just starting to eat, I assume the main course was on it's way. So you lost a filling, Antonia! BFD!
