I don't think this means anything. All four of them are "winners" and will get media coverage tonight regardless of who wins the big prize.
ABC knows squat! The reporter was making reference to the "winner Rudy" just as he would have made reference to the "winner Susan" if he had been assigned to Wisconsin.
But this is the point: Of course the reporters are going to converge on Rudy's family. Think about it: Susan, Richard, and Kelly don't really have ready-for-TV made families. Sue and her husband are childless and they're off in LA or wherever the town hall meeting is being held. Richard is gay with his adopted son who has probably joined him. And Kelly lives with her boyfriend. Whose family makes the best TV for reaction regardless of the outcome? Rudy's!
I still don't think he's going to win because he has received so much hype. My $$ is on Kelly.
