Absolutely. In the little clip when Burton is taking about how the five have to stick together, there are three different shots focussed on D, T and Lill. In the first Lill is sitting just slightly away from D & T looking more towards Jon than Burton while D & T are looking towards Burton. In the next, Lill is no longer even looking at anyone speaking, she is just sitting there looking down at the ground while D & T are watching Burton talk. And in the last while Jon, Burton, D and T are shaking and touching knuckles, Lill has moved much further away from the group.
She appears to be regretting it even while the agreement is still being made.

Snewser took the easiest pick of them all and then saw if he could get people to bite. He got TDT and Survivor Phoenix rattled and they tried to backpeddle. I do NOT think (although it is possible) that they had the same source as Snewser which fed the same incorrect information. More likely, Snewser intentionally tanked his pick and TDT, Suvivor Pheonix and many others fell for the bait. That is just his style. He always misses at least one each season and this time he did it on purpose (I think). I'm glad I did not change my pick.

Furthermore, spoilers haven't proven to impact Survivor's ratings performance so he could give a rat's ass. So for all intents and purposes, Snewser has carte blanche dominion over Survivor online. He has been granted such by Burnett and he can string along online fans, spoilers, lemmings alike however he so desires. He just wanted to reassert that point. I agree, it must be a wonderful thing to be Snewser right now "outing" the spoilers. It also caused much re-analysis and speculation here at Blows, which was frantic, fun and frenzied today. And yes, maybe some top sites in the spoiling community became lemmings, but, see my post #103 in this thread. I'm just realizing we are not a spoiling "site", but we are a spoiling community and we did ourselves proud.That being said, I am not saying that other spoiling "sites" are not legit. I think that they have bonafide spoilers. But unless each site has insider information, I wont expect them to be 100% right on every boot. And I'm not convinced Snewser has insider information either, he's just really good at what he does. LookeeLoo

Brad, welcome. I've read your posts at sucks, and they are always intelligent. I hope you enjoy the community spirit here.As to your post, I agree completely. Snewser yanked everyone's chain, and he picked the most obvious boot to do it. He knows the others are lemmings. He set a trap on the Sucks board, then on his own site, and it snapped everyone's neck, mine included. I spent much of the afternoon wondering what twist was coming next. I also think it might have been a little bit of a slap at erickman, who gave him grief over at Sucks.
Of course, we here at Blows speculated early in the afternoon that snewser was yanking our chain, looking to see who would follow.
And then hedged our bets by editing our picks in the Fanatics games.

Personally, I'm kind of annoyed by the whole thing. When did the game turn from "spoiling the game," to "spoiling the spoilers?" It's lame, in my opinion. Why spend all season building up your credibility, only to tank it on an obvious boot? Just go dark, if you are the spoiler with the insider info, and bored, rather than wreak havok by posting a "wrong" pick. Ugh. It's enough to turn me off the whole thing, and I've been around since season one. All games should close or lock by 2 p.m. eastern time. If this were the case, then none of this would matter. Thankfully, many of them do, so the late breaking info doesn't really mess with people too much. Now that I've vented, I have to say it's all okay. Maybe a lesson we needed to learn. Must trust the instincts, and our own intelligence. Yes, we get it. However, I may become one of those spoilers who avoids the sites as of game day, because I'm susceptable to second guessing and doubts, particularly in the face of a known source who's prone to posting answers at the last minute. This afternoon, my room-mate sent an email to one of the lemmings ... err alternate spoiler sites ... with the following question:"I understand snewser is most often right, but why even post a pick if you are going to change it?" The response, essentially, said that his goal is to be as accurate as possible and sometimes that means changing the story as new information arises. I don't understand why they even bother maintaining a site when they could just have a link to snewser. Congrats, Blows, on sticking to our guns!

>link to snewser. SB, see my post #114. Although the majority of the spoiling sites have a high degree of accuracy, Snewser is known for the highest. Maybe the question really is: "What site(s) do you believe have insider information?" I tend to believe that no site has the complete insider information source, but every site has access to some information source. So if that is true, sometimes one site will have better information than others and those other sites will deffer in that case. I'd be curious to have a Blows vote on what site's are believed to have complete insider information vs excellent spoiler information. Perhaps this belongs to Bebo's thread on other sites spoiling or perhaps it deserves it's own vote thread. I could just be naive. LookeeLoo
