As entertainment critic Roger
Ebert once said, "If you disagree with something I write, tell me so, argue
with me, correct me--but don't tell me to shut up. That's not the American way."
SR, well, she simply said something like when other women look at her, they probably wonder why she feels she needs plastic surgery. I don't know exactly if she meant because of her face, body, or the "total package". Personally, I think Christie not only believes her face is stunning, but also isn't as "self-conscious" about her body as she would like us to believe. In my opinion, she seems to think if she got her scarred arm "fixed" and the loose skin on her legs excised, she'd have a rockin' bod. I really don't think she's aware of her mismatched "spare parts" condition.
I agree with you...the tragic tale of low self-esteem is definitely a put-on. "Oh, I think I'm so ugly; therefore I'm considering a career in which I'd have to compete with tons of beautiful young girls with great bodies." WTF?!??!
