Hi all, have you noticed the online poll on the Survivor Website concerning a merger?Will the two tribes ever merge? * Ay, it's tradition
* Nay, it's a new twist
* Why do you ask? What are your thoughts? Does MB have another few surprises up his sleeve? If this has already been discussed, don't crucify me i'm only new.

In one respect this is a bogus poll. There MUST be a merge. It might not happen on next week's show, but one must happen, because when one tribe gets down to 2 members, nobody could be voted off since you're not allowed to vote for yourself. Therefore at that point a merge is forced. Most likely it happens on the next show, or the following show, with the jury about to start forming. They could do a non-merge merge like S5. but I doubt they will.

The merge has to come after the next TC where outcasts are immune. That is the only way for MB to insure that the outcasts have a fair chance of staying in the game. After the first TC there will be nine players competing for individual immunity. That would fit in with the spoiler that says the older woman wins "right after" she rejoins the tribe. Individual immunity or reward is the only way a "person" wins a competition. It would also take care of the numbers problem.
