Nah, Belgian TV gets commercials (strange ones at that) but American military networks aren't allowed to air commercials because they get the shows for REALLY cheap and it would be unfair for the companies with commercials during the shows we get here (we only have two non sports/news channels, and only one for "new" shows) such cheap advertising, KWIM? Superbowl Sudnay is nowhere near as fun without the commercials - not to mention having to stay up until like 5 a.m. to see it through to the end Boo!   Top

I think Rupert will keep his word now, and even though Shawn pisses him off, I don't think Rupe will vote for Shawn now. Rupert must be Burnetts wet dream, a strong Survivor, who considers this a grand adventure as well as a Game. A man of kindness , strength and integrity. His confessionals are great, his interactions with others are moving the story along, Jeff loves him, he has power for all the right reasons, he is perfect. Don't you want to invite him home for a BBQ and a few beers?   Top

Rupert, while he does need to learn to control his temper and his tongue, learned his lesson from S5 not to assume the merge, not to throw challenges, and not to vote off your strongest players (yeah, I know Burton went, but that was problem of the minority). If Trish deserved to stay, why didn't she just knock off Shawn, like they were planning too, and then deal with Rupert post-merge, if there even WAS a merge?   Top

Oh, another problem I have with Rupert is his apparent egoism ... (i.e. How dare he try to take me off "My Island" and end "My Adventure") He's not very smart or funny... I don't see why people like him that much. I find him childish, petty, annoying, and seriously lacking in manners and compassion for other people. I don't have everything figured out by any means, but after seeing tonight's show and the previews, a bunch of stuff that was fuzzy in my mind has started to clear up bigtime. And maybe a thing or 2 got muddied up a little. I don't think it is Lillian that comes back. If anybody does, I think it is Trish. What the Big Lie is, I have no idea at all. The Big Regret will be suffered by Drake, as I believe Trish comes back and, with the pre-boot discussions still being fairly fresh in her mind, helps engineer the booting of whoever she thinks spilled the beans to Rupert that she wanted to boot him. The previews are all the proof we need that the ghost tribe twist, whatever it may be, really does happen and takes effect in E7. I think that Shawn or Jon will be who Trish goes after, Shawn for sure if she knows he voted to boot her. This ghost tribe twist will forever after cause people to be a lot more careful about who they backstab and how they do it, because somebody is gonna pay the price for their scheming before this game ends, and it looks like Shawn is the best bet for that.   Top
