I knew he was out in left field when his opening line was to ask if she liked broccoli. If this show is a game, he's playing it back to her. I do believe he leads her on with the intellectual conversation to arouse her mind, but the show is about a conquest - to be a winner - and not about Mel to Tareq. Guess I am not into little pompous men. Plus, I am not into that Indian look. However, attraction is very subjective. So. what if he has knowledge in some areas. There are many intelligent men out there...However, I do agree that intelligent men are more attractive than dumb men. From what I have heard from other men however, they are not as interested in a "smart" woman as much as they are interested in the woman's good looks. Think about the female equivalent to Tariq.. short, Indian woman who was brainy. Would there be men on here saying, "Oh, Tariqua.. she is soo smart and small!" No, I don't think so.
