Not a Terrible Show

You know, every Sunday I'm going to watch The Amazing Race, I'm going to thank my lucky stars that I'm not sitting through another terrible episode of Survivor from this season. Now, granted, I'm still going to miserably sit through the whole season of Survivor to see if the contestants hang themselves, but it's obvious that The Amazing Race is the only decent reality show left on TV this season.

I hear even The Biggest Loser is terrible this season. Yeesh.

Good job, TAR. Way to not be awful.

Mixed Results

Overall, scores were mostly good, mostly due to Brendon/Rachel and Art/J.J.'s nice payouts for the week. Dave/Rachel's lousy 6th place finish did slow down a lot of people's potential earnings, but most were still able to eke out some kind of gain this week.

We did unfortunately lose a player, popeave, due to Elliot/Andrew's flame-out with the harp. It was really surprising to see them go so early because, in any other season, they were the types who would dominate and make at least the Final 6. Thanks for playing, popeave! As always, feel free to visit the Casino Lounge and have a complimentary cocktail.

This week's Greatest Gainer Award goes to Georjanna, who climbed up 13 ranks into the Top 10 this week. Also having a nice week was Molaholic, who climbed 10 ranks. Nice job, you two!

We currently have a very close race for the top spot, with over half the field still within half of the leader's points, whoever that is. It will be interesting to see what happens, especially as the bonus games start opening up.
