Nevertheless, I think we would all like to see the consensus of the posters on this board about who wins. Thus, this poll. PLEASE PUT YOUR PICKS IN THE "SUBJECT" FIELD OF YOUR POST, WITH WINNER FIRST. Thus, the picks should be in the order 1st-2nd-3rd-4th. Feel free to put the reason for your pick (or any qualifiers)underneath it, in the "Message" field. IF YOU WANT TO MAKE A CHANGE, put that in the "Message" field too but CLEARLY mark it as a change. "Kelly, Susan, Richard, Rudy" My analysis lines up with both the "Straight" Access Hollywood Theory, the Missing Three Theory, the Nine-Shift Glossary Theory, and my Magic 8-Ball. Kelly wins both ICs, Richard finally has to cut Rudy loose (but sticks up for him at first and wins Pagong respect), Kelly & Sue vote Richard off per Susan's prediction, and Kelly wins 4-3, with Sean casting the deciding vote for her, making her look pretty silly for the temper tantrum about the breakfast.   Top

However, among other things I'm basing my theory on where I see the "storyline" going. * Rich will betray Rudy, and Rudy will have the chance to "get back" at Rich in the final vote. "Revenge is Sweet" The vote is said to be close. And MB said it couldn't have been better if he scripted it. Could Rudy be the swing vote that makes Rich loose the Million? * Corporate America vs. Rural Ethics. We've seen this in Ep. #1 and Ep. #12. Who will win out? I think Sue will. (I so badly want to go with the Kelly, Susan, Richard, and Rudy theory but I just can't see Kelly winning 4 IC's in a row, nor can I see anyone wanting to take her to the final 2 with them.) Don't quote me! I'm not married to my own theory yet!   Top

Unfortunately for her the strategy doesn't work since she doesn't win the second IC. Rudy or Dicque win that one and finally get a chance to slice and dice Ms. Whiner. Then in the final TC (where a lot of resentment came out according to MB - which is why I think Dicque gets there) the jury slaps down the Evil One. That leaves Rudy winning.....but not in a homosexual way   Top

Kelly wins IC -- and votes for Rudy (figuring it'll be easy to get Sue's vote and Rich is more likely to betray Rudy than Rudy to betray Rich); Sue votes for Rudy, Rich votes for Rudy (maybe after that rumored tie) (Rich figuring there is no way Kelly can win IC 4 in a row and that Sue would be an easier person to beat in the Final Vote than Rudy). Kelly endures the FW (knowing this is her final chance) and wins immunity again! She also figures Rich is easier to beat than Sue and goes with Richard to the final vote. Kelly wins! Richard wins in a stunning reversal of fortune. "Richard, Rudy, Susan, Kelly" This is just the little theory I cooked up and Im sticking to it because I dont believe any of the spoilers anymore 1st TC- Kelly wins immunity, lets it be known to Sue and Rudy she will be voting for Richard. Sue realizes that the "stick with Rich and Rudy" strategy was stupid and that now Rich and Rudy will be gunning for her and she will obviously never make the Final 2. There is a tie... Richard, Rudy- Sue Kelly, Sue- Richard Rudy flops and Richard gets sent packing first. All Alliances crumble because Kelly will have no part in one and Rudy doesnt trust Sue as far as he can throw her (and remember, shes heavy and hes old) 2nd TC- Sue finally wins a damn challenge. All that hunting and trucking makes her the perfect candidate to win fire walking (tough feet and no fear.) Knowing that she has a better chance of trashing Kelly in the Final TC and winning (saying Kelly was a "double agent" and a "backstabber"...a good way to play with the Pagong vote) Also, Rudy is not seen as a ringleader of the alliance and commands more respect, so he is more of a threat in the final TC. (She must know that Rudy already has Rich, Sean, and Gervase's votes locked down) She votes for Rudy along with Kelly and he gets the boot. Last TC- This is where the "resentment" comes out full force. Kelly and Sue rip at each other full force and it gets very personal. At the end Kelly is crying and Sue looks deepy hurt and slightly angry. The vote goes... Richard, Rudy- Sue Gervase, Jenna, Colleen, Sean, and Greg- Kelly   Top

"Susan, Rudy, Kelley, Richard" I don't really think that Rudy will win simply because I think that MB has made it look so obvious that it is Rudy. More than 50% of all people think it is Rudy, and that means everyone, not just this site. I think that Kelley will win immunity in 13a challenge, and they will vote off Richard. I think that Susan or Rudy, but not Kelley will win 13b challenge and then vote off Kelley leaving Rudy and Susan as the final two. I think that the council will end up deciding on Susan. I think we didn't see alot of what went on with Sue and Rudy, and I think that Sue isn't as bad as she is made out to be. She seemed to really care about Kelley at one point. In her interview with AH she seems really nice and seems to really love her husband. I think that we haven't seen the "soft" side of her. I wonder why? Everyone thinks that she is the last one who could win..I think that the show has been edited to make her look this way so when she does win, we are all shocked. As for Rudy, all he does is sit around, cook rice, critise what he does hear about people, and then say "I don't know". I think that he may have judged some people to harshly and may have burned some bridges along the way. My vote: Susan - 1st Rudy - 2nd Kelley - 3rd Richard - 4th Although, in the end, Richard is the real winner because he is so marketable. He will make a killing of the publicity. His ego is probably HUGH by now!!   Top

"Susan, Rich, Kelly, Rudy" I decided to go by method of elimination, summarizing some of the sentiments expressed by myself and others on these boards. WHY NOT RUDY I used to think that Rudy is the winner, but there seem to be too many red herrings surrounding him. On a purely intuitive level, it has been made too much of an obvious, easy, predictable choice to be true. After all, with all their freedom to manipulate how each of the cast members is presented, MB & Co. have indeed made it very compelling that he'll be the winner. And that is precisely what doesn't sit well with me. After all, that would ruin the element of surprise that Mark seems so keen on maintaining throughout the show. Second, from the Sue and Rich's point of view, neither of them would want to be next to the old crusty guy, who clearly has sympathy of many Pagong members, at the final counsil. Third, he seems very unlikely to win any of the remaining 2 immunity challenges (one involves knowing well all 12 castaways that have been voted off, and the other - walking on coals), which would be the only way he could ever hope to get to the final 2. WHY NOT KELLY I could use many of the same arguments as for Rudy. Mainly, she won't become the winner because Sue and Rich won't let her (again, because she would definitely win the final popularity vote from Pagong). Now, she might win one more IC (the 1st one), but not the second (can you really imagine her being able to walk on hot coals longer than Sue?!). That's why she'll also be a gonner. WHY NOT RICH Finally, it's not going to be Rich because he's been portrayed very deliberately by MB as the most evil person on the island. If he were the true winner, CBS would've at least tried to redeem him a little (like they did with Sue by showing her more human side). And if faced against Sue, he doesn't stand a very good chance at being made the winner by Pagong-dominated jury. This leaves us with the unlikely winner - Sue. Stjarna   Top

I had a long post started but lost my connection to the net and thus, the whole damn thing. In short: Kelly wins 3rd IC in a row and joins R & R after a couple of votes at TC to boot Susan ("This is what being stabbed in the back looks like bitch"). Rudy wins the "Obstacle course" and chooses Kelly to go to the showdown ("I just didn't want to spend one more night with the queer"), thinking that a rickety old curmudgeon would stand a better chance against a double-agent instead of a conniver who played the game correctly. Rudy's right. The Pagongers won't forgive Kelly but, it'll be close. Rudeman - King of the island. It's "T minus 5 hours ..." for me.
