Nicole explains her Journey
------------------------------
Watch as Insider takes you to an exclusive interview with Nicole Delma, the first castaway voted out of SURVIVOR: PEARL ISLANDS, as she describes her experience.
The first day that we took off on the Rembrandt, we were all excited. We got all dressed up wearing our nice clothes. We were expecting to go to one great big last meal. Have a big celebration.
We had all of our clothes packed that we were going to bring with us -- our luxury items and everything else like that.
We took turns sleeping on and off the floor. Some people got a little seasick, but we were all smiling at one another. Then, before we knew it we were jumping ship into the water and the game had begun. It was a huge shock
When Jeff told us we were wearing the clothes on our back, I panicked. I had extremely uncomfortable shoes on. Just this tiny little dress that we could barely get zipped up.
At the last minute before I left, I opted not to wear a bra in order to get the dress on easier. Which was very scary, because in a minute I was going to be jumping ship and swimming in the water with not a lot on.
And god knows what we were going to be doing, hiking, climbing, physical challenges and this is not suitable attire for any of those things.
CUT
Looking back on this first day since being voted off, my experience was very different than what I was expecting. Most importantly I have to say it's real.
I think I've seen it before. I thought I knew what I was getting into. I thought it was going to be a lot easier than it was. The conditions are very real, especially the cold at night, the rain, the bugs, the lack of food, thirst. It was a lot tougher than I was expecting.
But more than, the idea that People were playing mentally with you from the very beginning. I wasn't prepared for what I had gotten myself into. I took it a little too lightly and actually accepted that these people were becoming friends with me. I didn't realize exactly what was going on.
I learned a lot in the three days I was there.
I realize how long three days is. Each night felt like it was 20 hours long. I also learned that certain comforts shouldn't be taken for granted. To take some value in the few good friends I have, because once you out there and you realize how some people can be. It's pretty amazing. That was one of the hardest things for me was not having anyone you could seriously talk to. Going through the struggle and not knowing if anyone around you can be trusted. That made it difficult.
I'll also never pass up a meal just because I think I've eaten too much. I'll appreciate it a little more.
As we were paddling in to tribal council, I had some jitters in my stomach because of the way events had fallen apart throughout the day
I had a pretty good feeling it might be me. I was going to stick with all I could hope for which is my last chance -- the last alliance we had talked about was to vote Ryan S out
But the fall through with the girls and what it led to with the guys and their reaction, I had a pretty good feeling I was going home
I kind of had already dealt with it earlier in the day, so it was exciting to me. I was running through my head how I was going to walk out. Thinking if I was going to leave. It was really dramatic. Jeff was very observant in some of things he pointed out. He had a pretty good finger on who was where and what was going on.
CUT
When I first saw my name, I felt a little bit like I've been duped, ya know. A little bit of a shock, because while I knew it was going to happen, I was overwhelmed that it was a reality. I thought at least some of the people would have stuck with what we had agreed on earlier that day. It hit me that there must have been a lot more talking going on than I was aware of. And I was feeling a little bit more secure than I should have been feeling earlier in the day.
I was disappointed in going home, cuz I wanted to make it further. But at the same time I accepted it. I understood why it happened and I was able to go with it.
CUT
At tribal council when Jeff asked me to bring up my torch and it was time to go, part of me was laughing, part of me was a little disappointed. When I pictured myself there before I was worried I was going to break out and cry, but I was half on the verge of laughing because I knew the irony of the situation. It was sad to know I was leaving, but when he put my torch out there was a big feeling of relief. The relief that I wasn't going to spend another night out there. So it was OK.
If I had the chance to go back and do survivor over again, I think my goal would be to keep my mouth shut longer. At the same time, that was my goal this time, and I wasn't able to do it, even for a million dollars.
Who I am came out. I couldn't bite my tongue. I tried, I couldn't do it. So I guess I don't have any regrets because I can't change who I am.

The Flirts Nest
------------------------------
Are Ryan and Osten just big flirts, or are actual romances budding at the Morgan camp? Find out who is snuggling with whom as you go inside the tribe's hut at night when the tribe readies for bed.
MARKOPOLO'S NOTE: This takes place at night at the Morgan tribe. The voices are EXTREMELY hard to hear. Tijuana talks so fast, I can't keep up with her. I will do my best.
(Clip shows Tijuana and Osten cuddling)
Nicole (confessional): With Tijuana and Osten, everyone else thinks there is something going on. She has this huge smile on her face. It's like, anyone can see it.
It's freezing and we're trying to cuddle up as much as possible. It's hard. OT, I lay on him so we can help each other keep warm. Having a good time, it makes it all the more worthwhile.
Ryan Osten to Nicole: Lay this way, towards me.
Nicole (to Ryan): Why?
Ryan O: I dunno.
(Nicole laughs)
CUT
Nicole (confessional): Ryan O is funny. I think he's just like a big flirt.
(Ryan lying next to Nicole -- inaudible)
Lil (confessional): I think there is a lot of flirting going on. A lot of girl-boy things.
I could lay this way (he's lying on his back), and you could lay this way (points up and down his body).
(laughter).
Lil (confessional): Boys like the girls and girls like the boys. Which is fine.
Darrah (to tribe): They're making out here.
(laughter)
Ryan O (to Darrah): I thought you were involved, too.
(laughter)
Ryan O (confessional): Me and Nicole were hanging out pretty tight and we were making some comments and I was laying pretty close to her. She's good to look at. (laughs).
Nicole (to Ryan): Inaudible ...next time going into the water.
Ryan (to Nicole): Going without the dress? Yes!
Lil (confessional): The girls are cute to look at. They’re cute and funny and dah dah dah. That makes those hormones going. Are you guys thinking, excuse the term, the pee pee?
Ryan O (in between Darrah and Nicole): I am one lucky guy.
Lil (confessional): Who knows? Who knows about young men? We can only try.

TRIBAL COUNCIL VOTING
------------------------------
We watched Nicole's torch get extinguished at Tribal Council, but what you didn't see is every one of her tribe members cast their vote. Go Inside the voting booth as the Morgan tribe explains their votes.
MARKOPOLO'S NOTE: It is VERY hard to hear because of the high winds. Also, Ryan S. apparently thinks he is gone from the tone and content of his vote.
Nicole (votes Ryan S.): Ryan I am voting for you only because my alliance fell through and you're the only one that I heard other people could be voting for, so....that's my vote.
Tijuana (votes Nicole): NOTE: TIJUANA IS GOING TO BE A BIG PROBLEM. SHE DOESN'T TALK SLOW. Nicole, I trusted you once. I gave you the benefit of the doubt when I caught you conspiring. The second time around, I've gotta (keep?) people I can trust. It could be that I am naive; I hope that I am not. If that's the case, you stabbed me in the back or you were trying to. Unfortunately, I found out and I'm saving myself.
Darrah (votes Nicole): I'm voting for you Nicole. Nothing personal. I love you to death. (to keep the tribe's trust??? inaudible) It's just something I had to do today to save myself.
Andrew (votes Nicole): At this stage of the game, our tribe can't be torn with distrust and conspiracy. Your conflict with Tijuana is the reason for this vote.
Ryan O (votes Nicole): NOTE: VERY HARD TO HEAR. I don't want to do this. (inaudible) around the camp fire. It just didn't work like that. Ryan wasn't pulling his weight. But he has integrity and he will (inaudible) better than you can.
Osten (votes Nicole): I'm voting for you tonight because you made an alliance too early. Thanks for playing.
Ryan S. (votes Nichole): My vote is for Nicole. Outstanding person. I hope you let your childish and petty arguments keep you around for another little bit. FUNNY HE DROPS THE VOTING PARCHMENT PAPER ON THE FLOOR! HAHAHAHAHA!
Lil (votes Nicole): I appreciate in the village when one of the boys asked you to flash. I appreciated that you said "no I am not going to do something like that."
I didn't appreciate that I also saw a lot of lying going on. You and I had a conversation about and in three minutes you asked me to help you get rid of something. I wasn’t real comfortable. I more or less had to think about it more. You said in just the few minutes we talked (inaudible). So many things came back to me saying that I had said something I didn't say. So I think you got carried away with the game. I think you're a smart (or swell?) person, I'm sorry, but you're my vote tonight.

Sandra Emerges
------------------------------
With her new Drake tribe intact, Sandra has quickly formed opinions about many of her tribemates. Get Inside the mind of feisty Sandra to learn what she really thinks of her new crew.
MARKOPOLO'S NOTE: Sandra says nothing new in the first minute.
ON JON: Jon to me appears to be very shady; he appears to be out for his own good, which I can't blame him because everybody out here is out for themselves. I am too. I'm not going to deny it. I'm not going to sit up here and lie. It's in my best interest to maybe make him my buddy for now. But when it's all said and done, I really can't stand him. He talks too much crap. All night long, cursing. Talking about stupid stuff. Everything sexual. I guess he used to make porno movies or whatever. I don't know what the deal is. He always has something cute to say. Well, he always has something that he thinks is cute. But, it isn't. It gets old. It's already old.
Jon is NOT attractive at all. (laughs). I actually put my hands around his ankles. They're this big (makes a small hole with her fist). He's really skinny. He’s smaller than me!
When we jumped off the boats. I can't believe I jumped because I drank so much water it was ridiculous. I had a stomach full of water.
But he was way behind. And even when I lost my buff and I went back looking for it, he was sitting on a rock, putting on his shoes. And then he tried to take charge. For what? You haven't a clue!
CUT
Jon to me is irrelevant. I don't care nothing for him. But if I need to make him my buddy for now so I can survive a day longer, because like I said, I am the outcast here, I honestly feel that I do not fit in, then Jon is going to be my buddy for the meantime. And hopefully, he'll go before I do.
CUT
So I have tried to find things in common with everybody. And then they start talking in big words. Half the stuff they're talking about, I haven't even a clue. So you start to feel alienated. That's why I feel like this.
CUT
I can talk to Rupert. I honestly believe now that Christa is good. She's my buddy for right now. We spent quite a while earlier on fooling with this one net trying to catch fish. The fish went in and when she pulled the net out, it went straight up instead of dragging. So the fish just took off. So then I wanted to take the net.
I went back and I asked Rupert, are you going to use the net for anything? He said, "no what do you want to do with it." I said, "I want the chickens to have a place instead of being tied up on the rope on the branch. He said, "Go for it, whatever." And Christa agreed with me also. And when Burton saw me grabbing it, he said," what are you doing with it." And I said, "I’m going to have a house for the chickens." And he said, "No, I am going to use that tomorrow."
And I was like, "Oh, OK, whatever."
So he has it in for me. He asked me for only one thing, "Can I put some mosquito repellant on his back. And I did it. He didn't say thank you AND LET ME TELL YOU WHAT THEY DID. Burton opened up a coconut while me and Christa are trying to get the stick into the fish's mouth and Burton decided to open up a coconut and he shared the milk with only Shawn and Michelle. And so I gave Christa the look, and I said, "Did they offer you any coconut milk. And she said, "No, and I wanted some." And so I went back and asked, "Hey, do you guys still have any coconut milk?" And they were like, “No, we didn't know you guys wanted any. It was awful anyway. We can open up another one for you."
And we were like, "fine." But they never opened up another coconut. They started to take a nap.
CUT
To me it feels like being back in Puerto Rico, except we have no extra clothes....my underwears are through. If we get new underwear, mine are through, they are going straight into the fire, there is no way to salvage these.
I've gone camping a couple times, but we've always had everything we needed. ......
I was trying to get mango out of my tooth with my nail and my nail got stuck in my tooth.

Nap Time
------------------------------
How is the Drake tribe's new sleeping shelter holding up, and is comfort becoming an issue for Rupert? Go Inside the Drake tribe and find out where Rupert decides to sleep.
Drake's shelter crashes in.
Burton (confessional): They didn't measure it out and we're packed like sardines. Everyone had to literally sleep on one shoulder.
Michelle (confessional): Somebody's feet smells. I almost threw up all over the place.
Rupert: "I can't sleep in that jungle. I tried to find something. (Rupert tries to sleep on rocks). If I could go 39 days and never have to sleep, I would make this beautifully, but nighttime is killing me.
(Rupert can't sleep).
I start thinking about family. (Cries).
I miss my wife, I miss my daughter. I miss my life back there already. (Rupert talks to his stars like he is speaking to his family.)

Nicole is Adjusting
------------------------------
Nicole is adapting to her new environment, but is she adjusting as well with her new tribemates? Find out as Nicole explains her position within the Morgan tribe.
HIGHLIGHTS ONLY (she says so little and mentions nothing of Tijuana)
ON HER CONDITION: Physically I feel OK. I'm surprised I haven't been hungrier. It would be great if I could get more water. We started to get some fruit nuts today.
ON OTHERS' CONDITIONS: The guys are getting so moody when they are hungry or thirsty. You can't even talk to them. The hunger is completely gone at this point.
ON THE GROUP: Our group is acting without thinking things out. Every one of our fires are going out. We've gone to bed without food. It's because we're not thinking. People will go and say, "Well, I'm going to do this." And I'll make a suggestion and it comes off as I'm being bossy.
ON THE SHELTER: No one had discussed it. The two guys said were going to build it and do it our way.

Sean's Adventure
------------------------------
Sean recounts the adventure from day one. What was he thinking when he found out that he would have to go into the game with only the clothes on his back? Find out as Insider reveals Sean's thoughts.
MARKOPOLO'S NOTE: Sean says absolutely NOTHING. What a waste of three minutes of my life.
