I have never bought the Franklin has to be straight theory. My gaydar only missed once...with Michael (I think that was his name) became he seemed so nellie! He's the one who walked out with his shirt open when he met James the first time.

And Benjamin is so-o-o right about the producers doing anything after all was filmed to produce whatever drama they wanted! My initial gaydar from episode one was that Wes was straight. He seemed to be trying WAY too hard to appear gay & I thought his body language screamed "straight". So why wouldn't he be seen at a gay bar in San Diego...just to fool everyone, of course!

It was only after last week's show that I wavered from that theory. Wes could still be the straight guy, but Brian seems more likely now, simply because it would make for the "most shocking" outcome. And he was the dry-eyed one during the emotional letter-reading.

Alas, Franklin is still the most gorgeous and I hope gay! I think he's the least likely to be straight at this point since that would be too obvious. I've been called the Queen of Denial on this one...so we'll see.
