First, they are thrown off the boat directly into the water with what looks like a life ring. They apparently have to swim to shore. No boat in sight. They start as a group on the boat and they all seem to have bags so they did pack ahead of time. Maybe they get their bags later. Rupert does catch some small fish and has a diving mask while sitting in the water. There must be supplies waiting for them at their camps. He also states that he will catch anything around him and keep it for a pet until he needs to eat it (so much for the sweet teddy bear). Edited to add one more comment because I couldn't remember her name but Darrah says she does like embalming and funeral arrangements.
