To sign up, please post your interest in this thread, as well as any applicable date restrictions that you may have. All sigups by August 14 will be considered to be timely, so there's no "first-come, first-served" in this thread. Selection will be arbitrary, sorry. Two rules: 1) To be considered, you must have written (or be about to write) an official summary for SurvivorBlows/RealityTVWorld. No exceptions. Sorry. If you still need to write a summary to be considered, see the Temptation Island board. 2) There will be NO carryover of writers to S8, as there was last year between S5 and S6. If S8 actually turns out to be the "All-Star" Survivor, we will pick an "all-star" group from our past writers of Survivor summaries to cover it. Oh, and we already have two signups: TeamJoisey and dajaki.

I have written 3 Big Brother summaries ( BB3) and I wrote a Survivor Summary for S5.

So, unless more people sign up, I have 17 choices for 13 slots. I expect to do something entirely arbitrary, like running a random number generator, to pick the 13 lucky names. But I'll wait until after 3 AM to do it, so that the thread doesn't close early for the West Coasters. Edited to add Pepe (yes, a blackout is an acceptable excuse) and delete cqvenus (thanks for your honesty!).

Dec 4 - F6 down to F5
Dec 11 F5 to F4
Dec 18 F4 to F3
Dec 21? F3 to F2, then F2 at final TC then Reunion From that, and going by the current schedule, it looks like Fester would have the Dec 18 show, and a further three recappers (at most) would be needed for an hour each for the Dec 21 usual 3 hour marathon. Or maybe it's that there is not a show on Dec 18, and instead there is the 3 hour deal on Dec. 14. So, F4 to F (first half hour), and F3 to F2 (second half hour) comprise the first hour on Dec. 14? And then carrying on from there with second hour at Final TC and 3rd hour is Reunion. AyaK will you confirm which way they're doing it?
