Here is what I heard - and I didn't want to believe it, but now that I have seen the final episode I feel that there may be some truth to this story.One of my girlfriends heard from a friend of a friend of a friend who works with Meredith - or something. Anyway - the gossip goes Kelly Jo gets her bottom dollar dumped by Bob on the last episode (which happended last night) Then Kelly Jo goes on to start taping the Bachelorette. Kelly Jo gets half way through the tapings of the new show and then she can't complete the tapings for some reason. So, Meredith Steps in and is the new Bachelorette. Hmm. I love Kelly Jo - Bob has serious issues. One word for Bob YUCK! I am not going to buy his stupid book either, DOUBLE YUCK!

I would prefer to see Mary as the next Bachelorette. Don't get me wrong, I was on the KJ bandwagon from the moment she stepped out of the limo, but she is only 24 with a lot of living to do. Let's give Mary a chance at true love! Besides, it is about time to have a bachelorette with some "flavor"--we could finally see some contenders that are diverse in ethnicity and age!

Good point--the ratings would be so much better with the possibilty of a wedding at the end--I agree that KJ does not seem ready. Although unlike Brooke (Bachelor Aaron I believe), KJ has a Master's and a job--Brooke was "America's sweetheart" but still in college--not wedding material, therefore not selected as the Bachelorette. Who would you like to see in that position?

Thanks for that article, SB--very interesting. As far as Helene being a potential B-ette--I don't know that she garnered enough sympathy. I'm not even sure people remember her. What I remember about her was that she was very reserved (I wanted to say a cold fish, but that seems a bit harsh) and not really into Aaron. How about Gwen? Everyone loved her, and she definitely has the sympathy factor, but I don't know that her personality is strong enough. Tina Fabulous would work, as suggested earlier, but I still want to see Mary get the guy! Viva diversity!

Are you kidding me? Kelly is gorgeous, awesome clothes, beautiful hair and makeup! And who says she is too young to get serious? I was married at 21 and have been with my husband almost 10 years!
Age has nothing to do with it. Maturity has everything to do with it. Kelly acted just like Bob. So obviously, if she's too immature, then so is he. He picked whiny Estella who sounds like she lost a nostril and looks like the 58lb. nightmare we've been seeing on Entertainment tonight! Did you see the whole in her neck where her collar bone was? You could stick a fist through it, which is exactly what I felt like doing.

I read an article on reality tv website that they have confirmed it is a bacheorette from Bob's show. So it could be KJ. Remember, she could be shooting it now because the series with Bob was filmed months ago.

I hope the next bachelorette is Mary..she is a sweetheart. She has shown how much love she can offer a person and she deserves someone who will love her just the same. and there was the Firestone season between Bob appearing on the Bachelorette and then becoming the Bachelor. No way a Kelly Jo, Mary or any girl from this season is going to be the bachelorette in January.

I heard on a TV show last night (Entertainment Tonight I think) that Meredith was going to be the Bachelorette. I think she is boring, and not really that attractive either and her family is wacky! I wish they would bring in someone new, too. I don't think I'll watch if thats true.
